Not seeing my posts in "New Posts?"

I'm not sure if I've got something set up wrong, or if I'm just blind, but I've not been seeing any of my posts/threads show up in the "New Posts" page.

Does it filter out your own posts?

Well, it may depend when you posted and when you are looking at the "New Posts" section. When I just opened the New Posts, there's a whole page of posts all done within the past 6 minutes (DIS is a busy board!); I have to go back several pages to see what was "new" an hour ago. If you want to see your own prior posts, go to your profile page, and click on either "Recent Activity" or "Postings."

Thanks. I have searched through the whole six or seven pages looking for things I just posted a few seconds ago. I know that the "new posts" is how I look for other peoples threads that interest me, so I wanted to make sure that other folks were seeing my threads, y'know?
