I went to Waldameer many years ago with my cousins I've never been to Presque Isle though.

It could certainly be a day trip for you!
Presque Isle is nice, lots of "beach" areas, though I think there are water quality issues a lot.
Erie Zoo is cool.
We like Waldameer, it is an old time amusement park, wooden coaster, carnival type rides, plus new super coasters and a waterpark.

I enjoyed it myself , but DD is trying to re-watch the same Bratz movie she rented the other day, and does not like competing noise in the same room. She wasn't impressed with Country Roads either, go figure!
