Ever notice how there are never batteries when you need them?
DS needs three C size for this lantern thing he wants to take to camp. WE have two rechargeable c's and one lonely regular left from whenever, but of course the regular one is dead.

I tend to overbuy batteries when they're on sale. I wish you lived closer, I'd share.

DD says we should wear them to show we are grumpy about not being at Disney, in Universal. I think that child is quite clever!!

DS is really low maintenance, he rarely requests stuff.
The DD's want something ALL the time.

It's funny because DS is the one who usually asks for things. DD is quite content. Though, DS doesn't ask for too much. That's why, unless it's a totally overboard request(which it usually isn't), I will get what they ask for.

so the search is on for neosporin. DD12 seems to love the stuff. She wants to put it on any boo boo.

Does you DD bring home pastries and such from work or is she so sick of looking at that stuff that she is just happy to be home?

She does from time to time but both of my kids are quite thin and not big eaters, even snacks, so there isn't much interest. It does get boring and sickening after preparing it and seeing the same things day after day. I'm definitely at an advantage if she doesn't bring anything home. She is asked to try things from time to time, especially when a new dessert is added to the menu. So I guess the tastings at work are enough for her.
