Not Quite yet....Waivers Are Up for Marathon weekend

I got nervous and excited when I saw this thread.
My numbers are:
Marathon - 5288
Half Marathon - 23331

Any guesses on where I will be, and should I bring my new PR of 1:52.33 for the half to try to move up in the corrals for the half?

GUESSING B or C on the full and B on the half.

32511-half
3014-5k though I don't think there will be any formal corrals in this event.

I put 2:41 as my half-marathon time when I registered. I posted that time in June of this year. In September, I was pace to run a 2:22. Should I try to move up, or stay with the original time?

Do you have a race result to support the 2:22? I would bring results proof to the expo and move up.

#33243 here for the half! :)

Another "oops" question. They list my sister's birth date as mine - date yes, year no, but they have us as twins. Should I tell her to call today to fix hers?

I would not try to fix the system as long as you both know that the date is incorrect.

Charles, I am in the 12000 will that put me in the last corral for the full ?

Do you have any quess?

Thanks
Kim

So cool finding out my numbers. 587 for the 5K, 26,180 for the 1/2M and 6304 for the Full. DW and I will be walking the 5K and 1/2M together at her pace that is in the 15/16mpm and then on Sunday I will walk at my pace. This will be our 2nd 5K and 1/2M together and my first official Full.

4 weeks to GO!

Am guessing one of the latter three corrals. More likely not in the last. If I recall, the stated capacity of the race was in the 18,000 range. But to help triangulate what time did you put on your entry form?

Guess I am going to be heading to Runner's relations this year. I don't think the charity i am running for put in my times this year (although all my marathons and 2 halfs were through Disney so they have the times) I have an elgible time of 2:31 for a half and a 5:44 for the full and my numbers are so high compared to others that have mentioned their times.

So Coach where do you think I will start with these bib numbers - probably behind the last corral - UGH

14689 for the Full
46058 for the half

I initially hadn't had a time, but submitted a time for a 2:45 finish and it was accepted. If the untimed is in the 46000 range (we're guessing from TnTsParty's numbering) I'll be somewhere back middle with 33243?

I'm at 33378 and had submitted my 2:26 half from October, which they acknowledged.

I'm #32046 for the Half. :) I gave them my W&D time as proof (2:33:19).

Tricia thanks for posting! I'm sorry you didn't get the bib #'s you were hoping for. I hope it's an easy fix at RR.

i'm 26396.

but i'm not running it now since i'm pregnant. i'm thrilled for WHY i'm missing it. but i'm still a little disappointed since i've been planning this for over a year.

my new goal is 2013. i just don't think i'd be ready to RUN 2012 and i want to run it.

good luck to everyone! i'll be following along here!

Thanks Charles I don't remember the exact time but come to think of it because I changed from the 1/2 to the full not sure if I even put in a time? Maybe they just check my last years times?

My bib number for the half is 43920. I didn't have any proof of time to submit and I don't even recall giving an estimated finish time. But, I did register in January so maybe that has something to do with my placement. Whatever the reason, I'm pretty happy with it. I'm not fast by any means, but didn't want to be at the back either. :thumbsup2

My bib number for the full is 15191 which puts me at the back. I never submitted proof of time because my half is over 2:30. I'm not a walker, but I'm a slow jogger that tends to take walking breaks. So I'll probably fit in just fine back there. It will keep me from starting off too fast!

My DH is 27573 for the half. He just wants to make sure he is in front of the walkers and slow joggers (like me.) He runs a 10 minute mile or so. Hopefully he'll be in the right spot.

My kids all have numbers for the Mickey Mile too! It's going to be a great weekend:goodvibes

I would print off my best times for both distances and take them to the R Relations desk. Better, I would compare your best half with the best full on the McMillan Running Calculator and just show them the one (but have the other in your hip pocket just in case).

It reflects two things. First the date of entry but more more so placement in front of runners who estimated a finish time quicker than 2:45 but never furnished proof.

Emily, Congratulations! That's a good reason to NOT be running!

thank you! we are THRILLED about the baby! just a little sad i'm going to miss the fun. i was so sick through the first trimester that i didn't even get out and walk.

What do the half numbers start at? I submitted a pretty good time. My Bib number is 21126. My first thought was oh cr_p that is really high. I want to get a sense of where this is, but I am not sure what they start at.

My bib # is 7548 for the full. I guess that puts me in the middle? I used my 1/2 time of 2:08. I think the only thing I have that's (slightly) faster is my 30K which is 3:05 but I doubt that would put me much farther ahead.

The good news is that my knee seems to be feeling better. I did push a bit hard on the TM for 2 miles and managed a 9:30 m/m pace. I doubt I'd be able to do that for the entire race but it is a lot farther than I was back in October :)

Most likely first corral Think bib 1126 to get a feel for where you are starting. I believe that the race bibs start at 20000
