Does anyone know if there have been any special editions printed yet - Time Magazine; People; Newsweek; etc. - or will they be holding off until after the funeral is completed this afternoon?

If there is anything out there now, I'd like to go over to town and pick them up today.. Otherwise I'll wait and see what's available next week..

Luckily my DD has a very close friend living in the Boston area and he's been picking up all the various newspapers for me and will send them to me in a week or so..

I've followed and studied the Kennedy family since JFK's presidency - have hundreds of books, magazines, newspaper articles, videos; etc. - and want to make sure I don't miss any of the special editions that might be published..

I've been taping the events pretty much non-stop since his death on Tuesday and will add those videos to my collection as well..

I heard that Newsweek was supposed to have a special issue about him on the stands by yesterday. But I can tell you from working at Target that the magazines are serviced by a vendor and if they go up on the actual date they're supposed to its a blooming miracle. In fact I can't think of anyplace around here other than Barnes&Nobles where they actually hit the stands on time.

USA Today printed a Special Edition on Friday. It is 4.95 and about 40 pages. That is in addition to the regular paper.

Is that actually a daily paper or a weekly paper? For some reason I'm thinking weekly.. Hopefully DD's friend will have picked that up for me in his travels..
