toddlers with one mother in the movies for King Kong. And wouldn't you know they sat right in front of me. The youngest was probably 6 months and the oldest 3 or 4. The older one was good but the younger two took turns crying. And then get this....she made a phone call during the movie. I'm usually pretty easy going when it comes to movies but I was really really close to complaining.

Who in their right mind brings 3 toddlers to a 3 hour long movie!?!?!?!

What the heck are kids that age doing seeing King Kong??? I won't even let my 6 year old ds see it.

Heck, the only movies I've seen since my oldest was born are Disney movies!
And even then my 4 yr old gets squirmy.

This is why the VCR & DVD were invented!! Going to the movies is terrible, I'll stay home!

My 3 year old won't even sit through a disney movie, so we never take him to the movies. I can't imagine taking 3 little ones by myself.

Oh yuck... I hate when that happens.. Me and my DD7 went and saw Chicken Little and there were alot of little kiddos, which I expected and there was alot of that.. But again to be expected.. Not to be expected at King Kong though..

A friend of mine took her 8 year old with her to see King Kong last night and she said they didn't even make it to see the big monkey ---- about an hour into the show -- just after some tribal dance when they are going to sacrifce the woman - her son turned to her and she saw he was crying -- which turned quickly into - "We have to leave - this is too scary"

I can imagine how children as young as you described slept that night -- she ended up sleeping in her son's room to help with the nightmares

Last night there was a (probably) 1 year old baby boy who sat directly behind me while watching King Kong. Every few minutes he would start crying and yelling. The parents finally just gave up after about and hour and a half.
