Not liking daylight savings time!

I'm loving the time change. It was light today before 7am, last week it was still on the dark side. I do like the long daylight hours of summer, but I don't mind at all the earlier darkness this time of year brings. I just light my battery powered candles I have around the house, and we light a candle at the dinner table, make for nice atmosphere. Lighting a candle at the dinner table in the summer just doesn't cut it.

I absolutely love that we're back on standard time. I spend daylight savings time with my sleep patterns completely out of whack. Interestingly, I read an article today saying that DST isn't healthy and that the best thing would be to permanently stay on standard. I can only hope that that will happen at some point.

OMG that is my biggest nightmare- I HATE this getting dark early and light so early in the morning.

But during the summer (DST), it gets light here EARLIER than what we're currently seeing, by about an hour - 90 minutes.

And it would be even worse if we were on standard time all year.

In my area it starts getting light around 5am in the summer. 4am would be awful (especially now that I have east facing windows in my bedroom).

I don’t like it getting dark so early. I prefer Daylight Savings time.

First full day today.
I normally get up at 8:30 am Up at 8 am this morning. So up thirty minutes earlier by the clock, but got 30 minutes extra sleep by my body clock. Had breakfast, did my chores for the day, done by 10:45am. Relaxing until I have to head to my daughter's at 2 pm and do some birthday shopping for my wife. So far, so good.
