Not feelin the love for Bare Essentuals

I found that the shades in the starter kit made me look jaundiced in certain light. (flourescent) I happened to be in Dallas where there was a BE store within walking distance of my hotel, and the clerk was able to correct my problem by adding a pinker powder. I also had to stop using the ?light; it was too yellow for me. I was able to add some eye make-up and lipstick, but I'll have to try the lipstick again at home. It was too dry for me, but it may have been due to flying and hotel A/C.

I think this is my problem too.....the starter kit is too yellow for me....Can you tell me about the pinker powder? Did you buy another powder, making the one I have worthless? Or is it added to your existing foundatation?

For all of you who have been wondering if I am keeping my kit or not:rotfl: , I am keeping it - I'm getting better with the applications.

Next up......eye shadows

I used it, wasn't crazy about it either. It wasn't bad, but for the price, it was not worth it. Now I'm using Colorstay Active and my skin looks much better.

It is a totally different way of applying foundation which I think throws a lot of people off. I don't think I could ever go back to liquid now, my skin looks and feels so much better with BE.
