Hi Guys!

I don't know about you but I'm happy that the holidays are over and life is back to normal, don't get me wrong, I LOVE and cherish the holidays, but there is something to be said about routine in my world! Especially with kiddos!

We had a fabulous Christmas surrounded by family and friends. Lucas turned 6 on Christmas morning, we did have a seperate birthday party the week before, and we ended up having a very quiet NYE, hours before getting together with our 4 couple friends and their children, two families had sick kids, so we ended up at home with a fire and nice meal, just the 5 of us.

In other news, I have received my 1st PIN code ever from Disney! I am BEYOND excited! I actually talked Todd into getting a quote for late February (the boys have February vacation from school) and got a nice quote for PORS again but the airfare was UNREAL! It was $700+ each! Forget about it and then I even said, maybe we could drive, which I said I would NEVER do....but that's a no go now, too. Hmmmm It's still out there and I'd like to see if we could somehow make it work but not sure it will happen this year for us.

I hope all of your holidays where nice and that you're all well! My plan is to get this back up and running and relive our fabulous trip with you all this week! Stay tuned and thanks for being patient with me!

Oh my gosh, $700 a ticket for airfare?! That's insane! We are actually driving to FL this year, something I said I would never do, but the cost of flying has just gotten to a point where it's just not worth it

Good Morning!!!

Today is a special day for me and I wanted to share!!

8 years ago today, I became a Mommy for the 1st time!! We had a very stressful week leading up to today, 8 years ago, I went into labor at 34 weeks and ended up on bedrest in the hospital. At 35 weeks, after an emergency c-section, my baby boy was born! Ethan was 5 lbs. 3 oz. and was considered the "moose" of the NICU, where he spent almost 2 weeks after delivery. He came home on a heart and respitory monitor for apnea and was on the machine for 6 months, but never missed a beat, even though he was considered a "preemie". I'm so proud to be his Mom and I hope the next 8 years don't go by as quickly as these have!!

We too will be going to POR for the first time in Aug and I have a 12 yr old son, so I love hearing about your boys and your families experiences...BTW, that local resort wouldn't happen to be John Carver Inn would it? I LOVE IT THERE! I spent my 30th bday there...totally awesome! I'm sure it was a great adventure! Hope you continue your TR soon...

I tried to vote just now, but the website was being really screwy and wouldn't let me login. I was thinking about entering Henry too, but we'd have no chance of seeing his picture on TV because we don't get any right now. I guess some of my DIS friends could tell me if he made it!

WOW...I can't believe I haven't even made it through Day 1!!! I've been suffering from serious Disney depression lately, as we all go through it, but I think reliving this wonderful trip with all of you, will help me get by...so before another day goes by......

We left off at Snow Whites adventure and headed our way to Dumbo, it was getting close to lunch time and we didn't want to wait for ever! Here are some pics on the way!

As I remember correctly, Emmi was having the BIGGEST meltdown EVER in this line. It was painful, it was hot, and this meltdown was making it that much hotter for Todd & I! Oh boy!! Note: this is only the start of the MANY meltdowns we encountered this week! Remind yourself, she is 2....lol

From Dumbo we headed over to Cinderella's Carousel. I use to love riding this, but anything spinning like this, as slow as it may be, I'm not a big fan, but I rode anyways!! As long as I don't look out at the scenery, i'm fine.
