Not exactly beach weather - 1/19 wonder - what to do?

Looks like we'll have some cooler temps (in the 60's) for our upcoming 1/19 Wonder cruise. is there anything on Castaway Cay to do if the weather is not great for swimming?

I'll also be on the 1/19 cruise with my family. I've been watching weather.com and it's showing 75 for the Bahamas and very consistent throughout the week into next week. Hopefully this is true.

When we were at castaway cay it was very windy and the temps felt quite cool. A few brave souls ventured into the water, but many people were still able to enjoy being on the beach and just playing in the sand (kids) or taking naps (adults). I noticed the bikes were more popular than normal as the weather was perfect for that. Sorry I can't be more help than that! If the water hadn't been so rough and they were renting boats were were planning to rent some boats (either paddle boats or water tricycles) and use those as a way to enjoy the water without getting wet. I don't know how but whatever the temp at CC we always find a way to spend our day!

Thanks for the update. When did you cruise?? Is the entire cruise cool, can you at least be in shorts?? Just trying to figure out how to pack. Thanks for any suggestions.

We're on that cruise as well. I'm planning on taking one pair of jeans plus the ones we're wearing on the plane. We'll also take a medium weight jacket for each. I'm hoping to enjoy the pools once we're out to sea, since they are heated.

If you want to do a sail-away meet, we'll be on Deck 10, by the terminal for the party. See you next week!

75 degrees and a hotter Bahama (Bohemian?) sun!

I think it will be great "shorts" weather during the day, but I'm brining sweaters for the evenings. I'll still be laying by the pool when I'm not in the spa!

Oh good. I hope your weather report is more accurate then the one I've been following. 75 sounds so much nicer then 65. I've been checking on Wunderground for my report. Let's keep our fingers crossed. I'm sure we'll still have a wonderful time what ever the temps may be. I can't wait. the fact that it's only just a couple days away seems so unreal.
