Not enough DME tags

We leave tomorrow and I just realized that we got 5 DME tags but will have 6 suitcases. I guess my only choices are to go claim one of our own suitcases or take it as a carry on, right?

No, just tape to the outside of your bag, on all sides the resort and your ressie number and check it with all your other bags. Make sure you pack nothing you need in that bag just in case. When you get to ME check in to catch the bus tell them you had a bad without a tag and give them your claim check tags for the bags. They will get that bag and will tell you it may arrive a little later than the others. We had this happen and our bag arrived the same time as the others.

Nope, you have another option, when you get to the DME area at MCO go to the counter and tell them you checked six bags but only 5 are tagged, they will ask you for your claim ticket , they take the number and give it back to you and then they ask for a description of the bag. They will get it for you .

Be sure to write down which airline baggage claim check went with the bag lacking a yellow tag.

If I had a color printer and scanner I would counterfeit an extra tag. But also put extra ID's on the bag as described above and write down the baggage claim check number.

Let's start a fad! Make up index cards all with the same 3 digit number in big print (and your name and cell phone number in small print). Plaster two on each bag. (You can also include date and destination airport and destination but will have to cross it out and re-mark for the trip back home.)

I did this for our last trip, I just printed 1 other tag. It was not quite the same yellow color but good enough for the bag to be picked up and delivered to us at the AKL.
