This is Ally. We adopted her in 1999. She was rescued from an abusive situation where she was being used to breed many pups. She was kept outdoors tied up to a bumper of an old vehicle in someone's yard. She was 2 when we adopted her. From the moment we adopted her she knew she was part of a real family now. She is the most loving, loyal and grateful dog we have ever owned. When the word "pit bull" comes into mind people automatically think of bad things. Any dog who has been abused or trained to be bad will be. Anyhow, I just wanted to share a pic of her. She's just a big baby.::yes::

She's beautiful. She looks like a sweetie. I want to get a picture of my neices pitbull with them. She is also an overgrown lap dog. And she's scared of cats. Then again - so is my Jack Russell.

Anyway, she's adorable. :) Thanks for sharing!

Wish,

You are so right about pit bulls, and all dogs. My concern, however, is that many people who get them do so FOR their reputation and work to make them more aggressive. They would do the same for any breed they choose.

It only takes a few bad apples to rot the barrell.

She is absolutely adorable!!! And ITA on that dogs will be bad if they're abused and mistreated but in a loving family will respond in a loving way. I have a 4 year old pit that is yhe sweetest most loving spoiled rotten baby imagineable. That's him in my signature.:D

Thanks! He's so loveable too, my nephews have a border collie mix puppy who loves to aggrivate him to deat and is always biting his ear and he just lets her. Not a mean bone in him anywhere. I got him (or rather he adopted me ) when he was 7 months old. The boy who had him before didn't show him any attention, just kept him locked in a kennel and only went out there to feed him - never to play w/ him. So my exbf's sister brought him home and he just sorta adopted me and he's been a wonderful furbaby ever since!

We had a pit mix. He was a smart and loving dog. He was my DH buddy and my protector. Max was a good dog. We had to put him to sleep last year because when we moved here two years ago his behavior changed, he became more to the aggressive. He never hurt anyone, but it was getting to a point where he couldn't be trusted around children, DD and me.
