Warning: there is a spoiler for some of the films so don't read if you haven't seen any of the Pirates of the Caribbean films. You have been warned.
Now before I get into this, let me say something: I looove POTC. I saw all three films and can't get enough of it. However, I seriously have to ask the execs at Disney: haven't you heard the old saying "Stop beating a dead horse"? I wonder if they have finally gone too far. I won't be going to see it because I have the feeling I'll be horribly disappointed. Will and Elizabeth got married, have a son and Jack sails off into the sunset. I'd prefer to leave it at that. (Sorry guys, there's no Will or Elizabeth; Orlando and Keira turned down the request to appear in the movie. I honestly think they made the right choice.)
So, seriously, do you think Disney is beating a dead horse here? Will you go see POTC: On stranger tides when it comes out? And will you see it with anticipation or will your hopes be lowered in case you'll be disappointed? I fear it'll be like the Saw films. They've got SIX Saw films. I bet they're still going to crank out another Saw sequel. Ugh. Puhleeze show some mercy!
