Not a WDW restaurant ?, but has anyone ate at the Club Car in the HI?

I looked at a menu of theirs and it said the buffet is $13.95 per adult and kids 12 and under eat free with a paying adult. (it said 4 kids for every paying adult). Is the food good and where is it in relation to WDW? Thanks for any help.

Hey There! We stayed at HIFS in Jan. and loved the place and even enjoyed the free breakfast every morning. But, The club car dinner was not very good at all. Keep in mind we are not picky people nor are we hard to please. That being said though, we had bought a restaurant.com gift certificate for the place and it was for $25. We bought it for I think $3 on ebay. So the meal cost us barely anything. For that, it was worth it and we were full so no complaints, I guess. There is no comparison to the food in the Disney restaurants. We loved every place we ate at, the food was exceptional. So if you are expecting anything like that you'll definetly be disappointed. I'll second that the Club Car is not very good. We had the $25.00 gift card also, spent $3.00 for it and it still wasn't worth it.

We just got back from HIFS last week--it's about a 5 min. drive to the parking lots of all of the Disney parks--very convenient. We enjoyed the free, full breakfast buffet every morning, but by the 5th and 6th morning, it was starting to get a bit boring. They rotate the meats between bacon, sausage and ham, but other than that, they offer the same options every morning. It is good, though. For dinner, we ate in the Club Car 2 nights--the food is OK, not great but not horrible. The biggest selling point is the convenience--it's right there in the hotel and after a long day at the parks, it's nice to not go out again to a restaurant. Plus, the 'kids eat free' promotion is a moneysaver.
