I called to make a few ADRs for Xmas week and didn't have 1 problem getting what I wanted even Chef Mickey's. I was surprised that more places aren't booked. I also got Le Cellier (well, for Lunch). I didn't request off times either. I thought it was always crowded?

It usuallly is--you must have hit a "seam" or something. But that's GOOD!!

I made my original ADRs for our Christmas trip right at the 180 day mark, and didn't have much trouble then. We wanted Liberty Tree Tavern on Christmas Day, and are eating later than planned, but since we're flying in that day I don't want to take any chances. The only other thing is that we are eating a little earlier than planned at Le Cellier for dinner, but that's no big deal. Just this week, I called to change some of the restaurants we had originally chosen. Everything was still pretty much open. I think in general with ADRs, unless free dining is going on or something, you should be fine booking most places, except the very popular ones, like Le Cellier or Cinderella's Royal Table a few months in advance.
