I have one of those neighbors that has to know everyone's business.
Yesterday, I took my vehicle in for regular maintenance. I got a loaner car from the dealership. This morning, I got a call from her. The funny thing is that when I saw her name in the caller ID window, I knew the purpose of her call.
She wanted to know if I had company over because there was a "strange car" in my driveway.
This happens every time we take in our vehicles for service and she sees the loaner car in the driveway.
I'm not sure what she's expecting to hear.
Maybe next time I'll answer and tell her that I can't talk to her because she is interrupting my wild orgy.
BTW, she doesn't like to talk about what's going on in her life. She is just interested in everyone else's.

How about you? Do you have neighbors that are this nosy?

Or "who is she hanging out with tonight?" This is when I have a friend or two over for movie night. I just don't get why he sees the need to "keep track" of me for DH.
Then ask her if she might be interested in joining

I didn't say that she is a bad neighbor, just very nosy. The reason these calls bother me is because I get the feeling that she is looking for something more than just showing concern for my home.
