RedSox68, you are putting up quite the convincing argument to book Norwegian Air!I am leaning towards this airline, especially since the departure from EWR is 11 pm so we don't have to take another day off from work to get to the airport. I figure the money we save by flying Low Fare+ will more than cover an extra night at our hotel. I was reading a 2016 WBTA trip report, and that person has put the bug in my head to visit Disneyland Paris before the cruise. Decisions...decisions.....
yes, I hope it is a good decision, but either way can't beat the price. A PP showed a link to book a different way, but the link does bring you to an article about booking premium. But that would have cost us another $400 each and for a late night direct flight I just didn't think it was worth the money. Plus we got exit row seats, so we will have plenty of leg room. In this case, I don't care about use of the lounge and the extra special food -- I probably won't be eating too much that late anyway.
And YES, the timing is perfect to save a work day. I am taking the day off, but will have enough time to take the dog to the kennel and get last minute things done without rushing to make a flight in rush hour. It's a win win
And the fact that we don't have to go all the way to JFK like we did last time is a huge plus. We'll just rent a car one-way to Hertz at Newark and we're good to go.
