I made ADR's for the Princess lunch in Norway and was wondering if anyone can tell me anything about the food? We arent that picky so I figure it wont be that bad but I wanted to know what other people thought about it. And what pincesses did you see for lunch? we are hoping to see Snow White but I'm hearing that there is a slim chance.:confused3 Thanks!

We ate there for lunch back on our 2006 trip. Personally I didn't care for the food and my 3.5 yr old dd barely ate any. Here's a link to the menu and a little info. By the looks of this the kid portion looks a little more kid friendly than it was in 2006.

As for princesses for lunch we saw: Ariel in the entry for pictures, Belle (in blue dress), Alice, Jasmine, and Cinderella. The character interaction is good at this restaurant.

We did the breakfast on our last trip and I enjoyed that much more. The food was much better so I felt I got my money's worth. The characters we saw for bkfst was Belle in the entry, Jasmine, Mulan, Ariel, and Sleeping Beauty.

HTH!

We've been to the princess lunch twice and love it. The first time we went, I asked the CM server for a recommendation, and she suggested the Kojtakke (spelling is probably wrong). It's comparable to our meatloaf. It came with mashed potatoes and maybe a vegetable. I loved it. My husband had the salmon and also enjoyed it.

My kids usually split a pizza and the get a little bit from the cold food bar.. My daughter doesn't eat much because she's so excited to see the princesses.

Oddly enough, we have seen Cinderella both times at Akershus. Ariel was in the front, and Sleeping, Beauty, Jasmine and Belle also walked around. I'm not sure SNow White was there either time (hence Cindy was there), but you can see Snow White at Germany and get a nice outdoor picture. We've never waited very long in line, ad if you ask a CM there, they can tell you when she'll be there. If IC ould upload pictures, I'd show the the priceless one of DD and Snow White in matching dresses, eash holding their dress out like a princess. So cute.

Can you have the meal there but not the photos? I have never liked having my picture taken and still don't like it.

to be at CRT more often.

The photos are included in the meal price now. I doubt they will force you to sit for them, but they do expect payment.

I had the Kjottkaker and really enjoyed them - almost as good as when my uncle makes them! :goodvibes

I'm sorry but I can't remember what DD had, but she managed to eat enough between the offerings on the buffet and her entree. :thumbsup2

Well, the photo package is included in the cost of your meal, but they can't force you to have your picture taken, so just do whatever you feel most comfortable with. :)

My mom loved the salmon, I enjoyed the Norwegian meatloaf thing a lot. I think it has beets in it, but it is good.

My daughter was two and ate off the cold bar. Lunchmeat and cheese.

They had lots of seafood on the cold bar. We liked that. My mom is jealous that we are going again.

The characters were awesome. The seating set up was mind blowing and the interactions are timed so well.
They have things together there.

I loved the desserts as well.

We are having dinner there this year. Three trips to Disney and it's still my DD's favorite thing, she remembers it very well. We only have two days this trip and we are doing the party and Epcot. I am glad the ride in Norway is working again.

we went for the Princesses ONLY, we are very picky and knew we probably wouldn't enjoy the food, it was ok, not horrible by any means but nothing to write home about either... We saw what my kids considered to be the Fab 5 (no snow white) and that alone was worth the trip.. enjoy~

ps.. the Desserts were VERY GOOD

We went in September and it was probably the best meal of our trip! We saw Belle (picture in front, in yellow dress), Ariel, Aurora, Cinderella and Jasmine! Our kids had hot dogs for their meal, so there was very little complaint about that! And I had a open faced salmon sandwich that was awesome! I forget what my DH had, but his was tasty too. It was really a fantastic experience...

We went for the Princess dinner a little over a week ago. I was very worried about me and DH finding something we'd like because neither of us are big on fish. I got grilled vegetable stuffed pasta ( which doesn't seem to be on the lunch menu, but pasta with vegetables is and sounds very similar ) and I LOVED it. I don't know what DH got, but he liked it much to my surprise. The kids got raviolis and and a hot dog. I wasn't thrilled with the cold bar, but as someone else mentioned, it had a lot of fish and that isn't my thing. But I had plenty to eat with the rolls, a simple salad, my entree, and very delicious desserts.

We had Belle in her yellow gown for pictures, Cinderella, Ariel, Jasmine, and Alice in Wonderland for our princess appearances. I was so happy that both DDs faves were there (one was dressed as Belle, the other as Ariel). And they were all very sweet, even trying to get DS (9) to get into it a little calling him sailor and prince, etc. Alice was especially nice because DD (4) would talk to her when she'd walk by even after she'd greeted us and she kept making the time to talk to her again. We loved it there and I'd do it again every time if I could!
