Looks like everyone had a wonderful Valentines Day. I'm jealous of all your goodies, Karen! I'm going to have to order some Rosa Regale too. I can't find it anywhere around here.

I'm still home recovering from my surgery. I've been using some of my time watching and recording all the travel specials for the stops on our cruise. I have a number of them by Rick Steves and Samantha Brown. We still haven't decided what we will be doing after the cruise. There are just too many great things to choose from. But we will only have 2 or 3 nights to add.

I emailed the Park Plaza County Hall direct and got a quote at a much less price than the one DCL gave me. I have it booked for 3 nights.

Some one else may have a better suggestion but this is what we do. DON'T go to sleep! We drag ourselves around until around 5 and then have dinner and hit the bed around 7pm London time. If you go to sleep when you get there then you'll be awake in the middle of the night and have to start all over again. That being said - Delta now has a flight leaving here at 11pm and arriving at 12pm so that will be the flight we will take. Hopefully Brent will sleep some!

We arrive back in the UK frequently from our vacations(), and we do what you do Gydell - stay awake that day and keep as busy for as long as you possibly can. It helps with getting through the jetlag.

Yes definately stay awake to get adjusted. But why sleep on vacation you can do that at home.

Yes, definately keep yourself awake until bedtime - try to find something active to do, even if it is only walking around town!

When we get to Italy in May I'm going to have to fight the urge to go right to sleep. I made that mistake on the TA in '07 and fought jetlag for days.

Rainy here, blah. I'm tired of rain. They also said something about snow showers this weekend, we can't have snow, my weeping willows are already starting to bud and snow will completely ruin that.

I went to the health food store back in 2007 (is that when we did the TA and the Med cruise?) and bought some NO JET LAG pills that you take 2 of every 3-4 hours while in flight. When we went back over to Barcelona in July to go on the 10 night cruise, we left Salt Lake and every three hours we took the pills. It was amazing. When we got to Barcelona, we were not tired at all. Checked into our hotel and then did sightseeing all day and then went to bed about 10 p.m. They were all natural and worked great. I highly recommend.

Welcome! I have already booked at the PPCH and think that I couple more people have too. Not sure but I told them how I did it so I am thinking so. Go to the PPCH web page and look on the left side near the top and you will see a way to email ressies. I sent them an email telling them my dates and that it was for 2010. He emailed me back with my room and ressie form. I did have to give him my credit card # to hold the room but I can cancel up to the day before with no penalty. I may stay somewhere else but at least I have a room at a decent place for now. Good luck!
