I get a bit frustrated getting trees right!!! You wouldn't want to see me stressed putting 3 up!!!:lmao:

We have one tree. Once it is done I love it, but still move ornaments around and move lights slightly!!!

I start the 1st week of Nov so I am finished at Thanksgiving. This way I have a month to enjoy all the decorations.

Love looking at everyone's decorations and seeing all the lovely homes!
We finally finished our outside lights this past weekend. Our tree is pretty small this year because all the kiddies are gone, but I will take some photos tonight.

Shoes99: yesterday I did a half-marathon to benefit the Victory Junction Camp in Randleman, NC. It was founded by the Petty family in memory of their son/grandson Adam who was killed several years ago (on the track, I think) Richard was there signing autographs and Kyle and Patty personally highfived everyone as they crossed the finish line. My camera batteries went dead so I don't have any photos from this year, but I will post one from last year when I post the Christmas ones. They are an amazing family!

I've been a big NASCAR fan for a long time. Never saw a major stock car race, but did see the Indy 200 at WDW.. It was fun, Tony Stewart was still driving Indy Cars and Buzz Caulkins won that inaugural race. I've done the Richard Petty Ride Along several times.
The Petty Family's camp is wonderful. My favorite driver is Dale Jarrett.

Put the topper on a candle stick. I have 4 of the toppers. I know Bob who is Christopher's assistant, so when they have stuff to get rid of he calls me. I have cookie jars, garland, and lots and lots of ornaments. Bob sells the stuff for about 90% off.

My MIL was going to incorporate it into an arrangement for this year.

90% off!!!! WOW!!!! Talk about an awesome connection.

That's when we started too. I know it seems early to some, but I just love getting to enjoy looking at the decorations.

We've actually got a few things to finish putting up. It's mainly just figuring out where to put them.:lmao:

The ride along is so much fun. Both Jason and my dad have driven the cars. I'd drive one if I could shift or if they offered an automatic.:rotfl:

We also did the new Indy Racing Experience while we were down there last week. They drove, I did the ride along. If you think you get a rush in the Petty Ride Along try the Indy Ride Along. It's like a roller coaster on steroids.:lmao: They said they're there right now for a 90 day trial period to see how the program will go over at Disney, but they're pretty sure it will become a permanent thing.

Emily, years ago I did the van ride on the Indy track. It was slow but amazing to actually be on the famous track, they even stopped on brick row so we could see the original bricks. I also liked the museum.

OK, here's the one of me and RP right after he signed my medal last year:

Now, I'm going to try to post my Christmas photos..... gotta load them to my computer first.

Ok, here's the tree......we have so little space in our living room that we have to put the tree in the sunroom. It's the only way we'd ever be able to put presents underneath! Gotta laugh about gydell and her 11...or 14...trees! There's no way we could ever find a place for that many!

And here's the house...ha,ha, we live on a hill so you can't see the shrubbery lights from the angle I took the photo. It made me realize I'm gonna have to do some serious pruning on the bushes in front of the lit ones!
