Good Morning Cruisers!

My cold is getting worse, I coughed up a storm last night, had to move to the guest bedroom at 3am so as not to wake up Scott with another coughing fit! I am really wiped out today! I am just very thankful that it is all in my chest and not in my head, I would really be a hurting puppy if my head were stuffy also.

It is snowing and cold today, think I will confine my activities to working on Christmas cards, ordering Christmas gifts, and working on afghans I am trying to finish before Christmas. As today is laundry day, I will get my exercise climbing stairs. The dogs have not gotten off the bed since I fed them this morning.

Just checking on to say was in hospital all day yesterday with kidney stones and as such was not fit to fly to WDW today

We hope to rebook for February as our UY is March, but I at least have two other holidays planned that I can look forward to

Peter: is Jenn doing the half-marathon again this year? Both John and I are doing the full. We'll see how that goes...... Our son, Jason is also doing the full. Jenni and the Greek are doing the half. She did the Goofy last year, but wanted to "ease" her BF into things so she signed them both up for the half this year. It's less than 6 weeks away and the Greek hasn't started training yet. I understand his comment was something to the effect of "If Jeanno and Juano can do it, exactly how hard can it be?" It will be
very interesting.......
BTW, we're staying at the Poly (Thursday thru Monday)

Hi everyone - hope everyone feeling ok today And not too cold, some of those forecasts sound nasty! Its very cold here but not bad enough to snow, just heavy heavy frost in the morning.

We've not had a chance to start our Christmas decorations yet, just trying to get the house tidy first, though that may never happen so we'll probably get them done at the weekend

Just watched a travel show this evening and they went khayaking in the Norwegian Fjords - it looked amazing, hope we get excursions like that on offer?!

The DIS toy store meet sounds fun though... Might do an All Ears meet, as I would love to meet Deb Wills, plus would love to meet the Passporter gang!

One more sleep! Not that much sleeping will be done tonight. Been a very long day. Got home 13 hours after I left.... I love my job, i love my job, l love my job

So after some frantic packing I am eating up the last of the Godiva Cheesecake... because I can!!!

I will be at the mega mouse meet. May be at the AK meet. Have not planned too much, been to busy. But I will be there for a week before it starts so that gives me time!

If you can meet Deb Wills, she is a great lady. Such a wonderful person and very approachable.

Ok! Next time I will check in from WDW!

I think we are going to try for the AK AllEars meet Friday morning too!

Deb is Awesome, she sent me an All Ears t shirt when i was in the hospital!!

Good Morning Cruisers!

It snowed all day yesterday, and was not windy, so the snow actually covers the ground, instead of the normal - bare ground with snow drifts! It was really pretty yesterday watching it fall. The Christmas lights look really good in the snow! I am having a good time this morning watching the sparrows and finches in the bird feeder. I may even find the energy to clean the walks, the snow is really light. The high today will be 14 degrees, but without wind, that should not be bad. Tomorrow the wind is coming back, and although it will be clear and warmer, the forecast is for "blowing snow".

I am still coughing too much for major exercise, the snow shoveling will be enough. Hopefully by the weekend I will be well enough for a long walk, the weather is supposed to be decent, at least warmer and clear, over the weekend.

Debbie – have a great time at WDW! And the same to all others who are going!

Jeanne – hope we will get to see you in Jan. I am doing the full and Scott is doing the Goofy! My first full, and Scott’s first full and Goofy!

We agree with Peter – Deb Wills is an incredible person! If you do get a chance, take some time to talk to her!

Lynn: we should definitely see each other in January. I plan to always have Windwalker Dave in my sight......he can be my pacer! We'll see how it actually works out. I'm only doing the full this year because my husband wants to try it. We are not too successful about training together as we have different styles. I would like him to stick with me, but he prefers to run some then walk slower than what my pace would be. I think he ends up getting more tired, but how can you tell a man anything. We are doing a half-marathon this Sunday and the plan is to to it TOGETHER...we'll see how that goes!

Feel better....the snow sounds pretty. I only have our lights up halfway because it is too cold to go outside......probably around 40 degrees!

Yes, Deb Willis is awesome! I've cruised with her also.

What is Mousefest? We are in California so we don't get to visit Disney World very often but we do make it to Disneyland at least once a year. Actually we are going for a short visit next week. We also just became vaction club members this year, so that is also very new for us. I guess there is a lot for us to learn.

What is Mousefest? We are in California so we don't get to visit Disney World very often but we do make it to Disneyland at least once a year. Actually we are going for a short visit next week. We also just became vaction club members this year, so that is also very new for us. I guess there is a lot for us to learn.

Mousefest is a meeting of a bunch of internet sites. The Dis boards are a sponsor this year along with Passporter, AllEars, Mouseplanet, etc.

They have a bunch of meets and activitites to attend. Registration is closed but you can still attend events such as Mega Meet on saturday.

Good Morning Cruisers!

It stopped snowing, it is sunny, and it is warmer, but it has started blowing. You cannot tell that I shoveled walks yesterday – on the other hand, the driveway that was full of snow yesterday is now almost all clear of it! They are saying that I-80 will be closed later today due to blowing snow!

Still coughing – worse yesterday than the day before, hopefully today will be calmer again. The only exercise I got yesterday was to shovel walks – that was easy, snow was really light. I did get a lot of work done on my afghans that I am making for Christmas presents – nearly done one, and just have one more to do! I tested out a “brownies in a jar” recipe that I am planning to use for other Christmas presents – I could not give them out without trying them first!

Jeanne - I should be pacing with Dave also, he got me thru the TOT, and hopefully he will also get me thru the marathon. I still think his planned pace is faster than I will be able to do for all the miles, but I will see how long I can keep up with him. This cold is really putting a kink in my training!
