Tammy I do hope justice is served, at least in the US the penalities available are more than here.

 to you and your children :)

Claire ;)

Ditto!

Speaking of tests. I had an MRI last week because my back and shoulder isn't getting any better from the two idiots that have rear ended me and run the red light this year.....

.

I got hit by a red light runner this year too! In July a drunk ran a red light, hit my Rav4 and rolled it! :scared1: Scary. I got up and walked away from it...thank heaven for seat-belts. Had a mess of tests done the next day at urgernt care and everything is fine. The biggest bruise I got was from then my PassPorter hit my in the arm....:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

.

hi you all, don't shoot me, I have friends on this cruise although I'm on the one for the 24th - heck I even have friends in the same cabin, just a different cruise -

Do you realize your thread title says "Batlic cruise?"

I didn't notice that. You must have an eye for detail! I always thought it said Baltic until now. :rotfl:

Thanks Claire. I hope justice is served too.

Anyway, MRI showed some minor spine things so they are using traction for that and then an ultrasound on Monday showed a partial tear in my left shoulder (about where the seatbelt goes), but no surgery should be required for either, thank goodness. So now I got a cortisone shot and am doing PT for three more weeks, then back to the spine doctor.

This has been a pain (in more ways than one) since April and then June.

Oh my! That is so weird to have two accidents so close together like that. I hope it gets better soon.

Jackie: I am glad that you are okay, I think I missed that on the other thread. I remember you getting a new car.

You say Baltic we say Batlic, You say leaches we say leeches:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: , Ya had to be there.

Lynn and I did notice but thought it was a different itenerary, or silly you that is the Sweedish chef's pronunciation:lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: :thumbsup2

Hi all,

I'm home this afternoon with ice on my back catching up on the DIS. On the Aug. EB repo, as we left Cartagana, I had to go to the onboard medical center to have a spot on my back cut on. Monday I had outpatient surgery to have the problem removed for good. At work yesterday afternoon and today the stitches started bothering me, so I came home.

We like the 8:00 pm dinner so we are not rushed to get ready for dinner but DD can still make it to the evening teen activities. Any later and DD has to leave dinner before the entree is served. When we booked this cruise we requested the 8:00pm seating.

On the Aug. repo, Cheryl (micmse2003) was able to link our dining to other DISers so we could all sit together in the same area. Cheryl arranged the linking for the late seating; someone else did the same thing for early seating. I don't know how she was able to do this but she did a great job and we enjoyed our evening meal and planning session with the StephT5. In case some of us want to link dining, I will PM Cheryl for the how to info.

On the EB repo we had a great time with all the DISers and DIS activites so put us down for lanyards, braclets, FEs, SMs and everything else.

Of course it's Batlic! Isn't this the Vampire version of the Blarney stone (as in BAT - LIC)? :lmao: I realize this is the "off-season" for Bat-lic cruises. All that light can be QUITE annoying (and downright deadly). But still, a cruise to the BATLIC! DD is really hoping they'll have a PreMEAR at sea of "Interview with Vampella: Children's Edition" :lmao:

Seriously though - I didn't notice it either! Loved that quote from Cambridge that someone posted. It is amazing what the human brain will see.

I was LOL ;)

I read on another thread that if your child is 18, but is still in high school, and has not started college, they may still go to the stack. Does anyone know if this is true? If it is, my son will be way more excited about this cruise because he will be just finishing up his senior year as we cruise in 2010. I have always heard that if they are 18, they can't go to the Stack.

tell me more about this scooter person, wonder if it's the same person I'm thinking of?? but I'm too lazy to search this entire thread for it!

But.....I have it on my laptop and have never put anything up on the web to then insert it into the thread:surfweb:

I could send someone who has that ability the picture and they could post it so we could all see her

I seem to remember she had the huge disabled room on deck 7 and left her scooter outside where it would block the corridor

a real piece of work

John is just back from the doctors. His scan was clear!:yay: The doc is treating him for blocked sinus at the moment though the scan report didn't mention that either. Relieved is the word here.

Congrats on the great news.....

we were all holding our collective breaths

Hi All,

We've been trying to keep up with this thread, but it's tough you guys are so busy posting each day and we're still a year and a half away. What's it going to be like when we're closer. I hope not as bad as the PC August repo this year, no way a normal person could keep up. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Although it's a ways off, count us in to help ($) with the lanyards. We're happy to be part of the Lanyard Team.

Bob & Dale (DW) and of course Gordy

Thanks for not posting so many posts today that I can't keep up!! It takes me an hour to catch up every night with you all!! :rotfl:

I am beginning to think that the 600 days will fly by, since I blinked and now I am less than a week away from leaving for WDW and boarding the Disney ship on Nov.1! I still have soooo much to do, and NO time to get it all done! I may be going nekked (you say naked!) on this cruise. Good thing its to the Carribean! :rotfl2:

Did you all want me to check out what might be in the Norway pavillion in Epcot and and the ship and see if we can come up with a graphic for our cruise? Let me know. I won't bother if someone can be creative enough without the "assistance" but if it would help the cause, just let me know!

Well, need to go get some sleep. Spent an exhausting morning at the Dairy Farm with my DD's first grade class. It was so cold on that field with the wind whipping up a wind chill!! Glad we're heading south next week!!

That is wonderful news!!

Debbie, Thanks so much for the great website. I am really enjoying seeing the pictures of those that have sent theirs in so far. I love seeing what everyone looks like. I think that I might make a quick brochure with everyone's info and pictures to take with me on the cruise.

I am glad you like it. The site is very simple, not very good at anything complicated, but that may be my goal in the next year and a half!!

Debbie

Tonight i got acall from a friend. The prosecutor has announced they are going to seek the death penalty for my dh murder. I don't know what I feel. It does mean that this may be a long process.
