Just booked, now how do I get my cabin number assigned?

Apparently on "guaranteed status" reservations they don't get assigned until 2 weeks before the cruise.

I would Claire.....you don't want to risk missing out. I booked online at 3pm this afternoon and have already had my booking transferred to DU. They confirmed about an hour ago!

What did you have to do to get the reservation transferred Claire?

We were GTY on the PC WB until 3 weeks before. Very annoying. I'm guessing it is going to be the same this time too.

Will need lots of help with the pre and post cruise planning as we are traveling all the way from Hawaii.

I know, that's how I felt when I read it as well. Plus ours is on deck 5 where there aren't a lot of Cat 6 cabins anyway so we'll probably end up with one of the ones in the corner at the back. Still, as I said on the UK board - we're on the cruise and that's all that matters.

I never noticed you were a Brit... Now that I think about it, Mickey is American after all, so it does make sense!

We will have to fly to some big gateway city like Atlanta, NYC, etc. We are looking at appx. 20 hours trip just to get to England.

Will be saving up my miles for that airfare for sure!

It so easy....go here and fill the form in and they will do it all for you.

Just to warn you the 12 night northern european doesn't appear on the drop down menu but just pick any of the other ones and in the box at the bottom where you put the passenger names just put in there a small note to explain your on that cruise. (I have reported it to DU and they are fixing it but advised me to do the above and it worked for me, I'm transferred and showing my credit. )

Well done Claire....Did you not have the option to pick your cabin? I was able to select which one I wanted.....there was about 8 on deck 5 and I wanted deck 6 but I was just happy to get category 6 in the end.

You should be able to fly to LAX or SFO and get a direct flight from there to London.

Well, I'm throwing in the towel for today. Perhaps tomorrow will bring our reservation with assigned room just where we wanted it!!!

Got a lot going on at home at the moment too so feeling very tired and emotional.
