OK Lynn and I are looking at this one as well as the Barcelona to Dover sailing. Also waiting for DVC points, will do both on points.

Yay for Scott and Lynn! Lots of familiar faces around here. Kevin is excited.

Scott will the Grass Skirt Fraternity be meeting on the Baltic or do we need to bring Viking hats instead?

Now ya got me thinking, Bob and I will come up with something, I think Kilts may be in Order.

Hey Scott. :wave2:
GSF? You know how I messed up the last time.
And to top it off I had a sporan too. Left both at home:sad2:
Next time:thumbsup2

Hi Emily and Cyndi and Scott and Bob! And all the people I haven't met before too!

I'm moving the 9/1/08 cruise (yes, the one with all of you that I didn't take) to THIS one! At least I hope I am. I did get a bit of sticker shock when I saw the prices, but I figure it's 18 months away - I should be able to save up for it by then!

It'll be GREAT to see old faces. Christina is really, really excited about it. Although it's hard to explain that it'll be (to her) another 1/4 of her life before we get to go! :scared1:

Looked at rick steve's website today and it seems we're not in Norway nearly long enough to see the Fjords! :-(

This'll be the longest cruise ever for us. And our first "stay on the boat overnight". FUN!!!!

Cyndi - don't know if you caught my post over on the 9/1/08 thread, but Christina and I have 3 seconds of fame on the Disney Cruise website!!! The European cruise intro thingie shows us from about 1:45 seconds to 1:48 seconds. You can even see a small bit of Nana's arm!

Emily - LOVE Samantha Brown. I'll have to start Tivo'ing her shows.

I'm so excited!!! And, I'm with all of you - NOW is good!!!

Bye Emily! Will do, tell Jason we say hello!

Hi Bob! Hope you guys can make this one. Its going to be a fun one! We met up with Scott and Lynn briefly in September. He told us how you were accidental neighbors. How funny!

Sue I will have to check that out! How is Christina doing? I am so glad you are coming along on this one too! It does seem like a long time away. All the more time to plan and dream though. :) Give Christina a big hug from me and Kevin.

I may have to switch cruises if there's going to be alot of Bama fans onboard! You're the second ones so far!

We're primarily Penn state fans - but we also root for Auburn (very close friend is Auburn alum).

We booked a dummy date last week while sailing on the double dip Western. We are in the process of transferring this booking to our travel agent.
We are also interested in the first Baltic cruise.
We are two adults, no kids, will be 64 and 65 at time of sailing.

Lisa - how are you liking Jacksonville? Didn't you move this summer or close to our cruise?

I know I expect it NOW, NOW, NOW.:lmao: I'm super excited. I've looked a little bit at what Royal Caribbean offers and I've also looked at Cruise Critic too. From what I remember, not surprisingly, Russia looked to be pretty expensive, but there's a variety to choose from in a variety of costs. I've also been watching Samantha Brown's Passport to Europe. On Monday, she was in Helsinki and on Friday she'll be in Copenhagen. Gotta love the Travel Channel.:lmao:

Thanks - I just added it to the DVR :happytv:

We moved 2 months after - and we love it! We are enjoying FL way more than we ever did CA. We've been to WDW 9 days so far and we've only been here 2 months!

We were hoping to take advantage of FL res rates for a cruise in Feb but I'm thinking with our Western in Oct 09 and booking this one we'll have to make do with day trips to WDW.

Are you taking the cruise you booked on board or transferring it to this one?

Tony Franklin(offense coordinator) got fired today!!!!!

That's what happens when you lose to Vandy...

Oh, hello! We are seriously planning on hoping to go on this cruise too. It will be my wife and myself, and our 2 daughters (currently ages 6 and 8). The money will be tight, but its too great of an opportunity to miss. We've been on the Magic 3 times before (all Easterns) and are looking forward to trying something different. We are thinking of coming out a few days early and hitting London and Paris before the cruise.

Here's hoping everything works out.

And as far as college ball goes, I am a Georgia Tech guy.

Jason.

Trasferring one of the ones I did onboard.

Hi Michele! I'm sure you'll fit right in with this group. I travel with my Mom, who will be, ummmm, 39 at the time of sailing. Yes, that's it, 39!!! :rotfl: (shhh - this is a secret - shhhhhh... she'll be right in your age group come January, shhhhh). The rest of this crew is around age 6. :lmao: Although my 7-year old would probably be more likely to say they were around 8! :rotfl:

Speaking of said 7-year old, she has been awful quiet for the last 30 minutes. :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: I better find out why!

Where were you from in CA? I used to live there!

Ok, I have been scouring the cruisecritic forums and checking out possible excursions. There are some really cool things to see on a Baltic Cruise!
Among my list of things to do so far:
1) Ice Bar in Copenhagan They give you a parka and gloves in a sub zero bar and serve you vodka in ice shotglasses. As Scott would say KEWL!
2) I danced for 17 years of my life. I would love to see a russian ballet in st petersburg
3) horse drawn carriage through the forest looking for trolls in Oslo

And lots lots lots more. There is just so much to do! How exciting is this trip going to be? WOW

Ok, my brain is tired from all the possibilities. Going to bed now. Night all!
