Northern Sights and Mickey's MAGICal Delights-1st Baltic Cruise-June 12,2010-Pt 2

Sorry Kids, so excited about the flight not being canceled I miss typed CDG, I got it correct on the repo cruise thread.

Quick question does anyone know if the master ballet class is a children's activity? Says adult ages 10 and up but also says parents may watch. Are there any adults doing this one?

Just our daughter doing the Masterclass, but we are watching. Don't let that stop you, get your dancing shoes on and join in!:dancer:

Our daughter is doing the class as well. I'll watch. If it were cheaper, maybe I would have put my ballet shoes back on too...:rolleyes1

OHHH Note to self pack my Tutu.... kinda brings visions of the Hippos from Fantasia to mind....

Seriously, are there any gentlemen on this cruise who will be wearing their kilt???

Mine is rather utilitarian but if baggage weight were not an issue I might just bring it.

Good Morning Cruisers!

Lynn, what do you think of the iPad? Jason was thinking about getting one, but is also thinking of waiting until the next gen. Macbook Air comes out and just getting a new laptop instead.

I keep telling him I'll buy him one if he wants it though.

I was looking for an e-reader, so it is just a bit bigger than what I was originally looking for. I have only used it at home so far, so I do not know how it travels. I mostly play games on it (Sudoku and Free Cell), and read books. Scott uses his constantly to follow face book. I guess a lot depends upon what he wants to use it for. I am seeing it as a replacement for my netbook computer for travel and for the e-reader function. Oh, we can also watch movies on it - will see how that goes on the plane. Scott has already traveled with his, he might be able to add more.

That's CDG.

I was going to say that Scott types with 1 or 2 fingers, and goes really fast (faster than I type with 10 fingers :rotfl:), so he often makes mistakes and he will not proof read his posts before posting them.

Looks like a beautiful day here today, but we have more "severe weather" forecast for tonight.

Have a great day all!

If you don't mind I might have to take a looksy at it on the cruise. I've glanced at one in the Apple Store, but it's kind of hard to get a feel for it in there when there's 500 other people wanting to do the same thing.:lmao:

I can cross two items off my checklist. My new jacket and my new camera case came in yesterday.

If anyone is ever looking for a North Face jacket I found a great site that has awesome prices. I got mine for around $30 less than anywhere else I had seen it. www.sunnysports.com

Ipad addendum: yes it travels really well, movies are very good, and the travel applications are nice, I have the relevant travel guides on there as well as on an Ipod Touch, planning on using open wireless as we find it. i.e coffee shops and hotels. I just hate paying for connectivity.

I bet Tony is packing his. I've never seen him on a cruise without it.

Well DH said I finally lost it. I learned how to load the horn from the Magic as a ringtone on my new phone. It is great now all i need is someone to call me! :yay: Sue

OK, now I want it too......tell me how!:sail:

hey Scott...those of us coming along after you will be following you on facebook...inquiring minds want to know (especially how the food is - will be waiting for the live report from Dinner of the Tsars, although I'm waiting for the Rasputin Midnight Buffet)
