Northern Sights and Mickey's MAGICal Delights-1st Baltic Cruise-June 12,2010-Pt 2

We use the rolly dudes all the time, Lynn just ordered the hang up ones for the dress clothes.

I would hate to have my T-shirts come out wrinkled:lmao::lmao:

we had some of the big ones you use for storage, haven't tried them for travel yet.

We are booked on the Canterbury and Leeds tour through DCL on the 11th. Our docs showed the 12th so they had to reconfirm the 11th. It is a 9 hour tour leaving the hotel at 8:00 am. Sue
we arrive on the 10th and I think we're taking the train up to Canterbury on the 11th.

i have done an update to the roster! If you have gotten your room number and would like it listed, please let me know.

Remember on the bottom of the page there are the stats about number of people and staterooms

time is ticking away!!

Debbie

thank you debbie!

That's why I'm going to try these because the rolling ones always scared me about wrinkles.

The set I ordered has 3 cubes, 3 large rolly's and 3 small rolly's. I figure I'll use the rolly's for underware, socks, etc., things I don't mind getting wrinkled a little.

Maybe, just maybe I'll get away with 1 suitcase and the garment bag this way. Might have to do a trial run.

You don't press you undies and socks :lmao:

I use them all the time for my road trips, usually running gear , undies etc, for shirts and slacks use the eagle creek packing folding thingies , still need tom press stuff but not really that bad. Lynn and I can not remember what the real name is.

I have reservations for both Palo dinner and High tea. I have a reservation for two, but don't really want to go by myself. I am not looking for a "date", just someone else, who is traveling without another adult who wants to go to Palo and like me, doesn't want eat at Palo alone. Send me a pm if interested and I will look up the time.

You're on the list for the group brunch so hopefully this will come through. Should know any day now!

Yeah, I totally iron each individual sock.:lmao:

I think I know which ones you're talking about for the shirts. I've thought about trying those as well too.

Just don't give Lynn ideas about starch :thumbsup2:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Eagle creek pack it folders:thumbsup2 large one works for a mans suit but plan on pressing

Seriously Lynn and I split up our clothes amongst our bags in the event a bag gets delayed. Probably mentioned before if so just a reminder.

Yes, Gydell, that is great. I was just thinking that I would get as much Palo as possible. LOL.

I couldn't concentrate while I was lurking last night. As I'm trying to concentrate on what space bag everyone is using, DH is reading headlines and says that the volcano erupted again. I quickly lost interest in packing tips!

On a lighter note...Doing more reading on various historical sights. The Dover Castle looks pretty neat. It has just been re-opened (2009)with updated decor; based on historical research, of course. Looks so vibrant. I think we'll try and dump our luggage at the dock and cab on over to the castle.

Ann and Albert, who had been on our Panama Canal trip live just NW of Gatwick, and have been to the Dover castle since it's been refurbished. They said it was great! Definately on my list!

I just looked up the Space Bags To Go and it looks like you can buy them at Walmart and Target.

I'll go look next week.

Wrinkles don't scare me! They are hadly even noticeable after you've slept in your clothes a few days. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::lmao::lmao::lmao:

I bring Downy wrinkle free spray it works great. They sell a travel size at Target. I got our space bags today!

Well, after looking at the Disembarkation Day tours (Leeds Castle or London Highlights) we decided not to do either. It looke like they will only drop you off at one of the Disney-organized hotels. Won't even take you to the airport.

We have a very early flight the next morning, so we've booked the Premier Inn near the airport. We'll take a car service to the hotel, drop the bags and then go visit Windsor Castle, which is not far from the airport. Maybe take a taxi there and back.

Happy Mother's Day everyone! Looks like a beautiful day here in Ohio.

Funny, dad got all the gifts for his camping trip this week since we'll be on the cruise for Father's Day.

I just got excited; we leave one month from today. I ordered the space bags. I figure even if I don't utilize them on the way there, they'll be great for smashing down all the dirty clothes to make way for souvenirs. I want souvenirs!!!!

Why can't I use smilies? They just come up as words when I preview the message.

Happy Mother's Day!!!

Heading up to Mayo with my mom later today.......fun, fun, fun. Be back home next Sunday and then I can finish getting ready for this trip! That is unless my dad comes home with me for a week.....
