Northern Sights and Mickey's MAGICal Delights-1st Baltic Cruise-June 12,2010-Pt 2

Hi Connie!!!

Formal night is the 2nd night.
Semi-formal is the 11th night.
Themed night is the 9th night.
I asked if it was pirate night and was told that it was listed as theme night.:confused3 Not pirate night as it usually is.

OK, we can be twins!

When you were researching the tours in Copenhagen, were you looking at the one that asked for prepayment on the internet with no refunds? It looks good, but I would much rather buy my ticket when I get there.

yep that is the hop on and off one we did, I agree with buying there but there was a pre purchase deal, so we will see

I found the same tours I found under "Copenhagen Tours" under the name "Viator Tours" but they have different 800 phone numbers to book through. Otherwise the tours are exactly the same. Connie

You're right.

I have been doing some research and also some others posted here about the Dover Castle. It looks like it will be very easy to catch a cab right from the terminal and go straight to Dover Castle and then after the tour you can catch a cab either straight back to the ship or into the historic district in Dover and do some more sightseeing.

I would like to do this. If (Big if) I am not doing laundry that day. LOL.:laundy:

According to the info I got from the concierge the theme night is Pirate Night and there's also another semi-formal night as well.

Here's the schedule I got:
Night 1: Let the Magic Begin
Night 2: Prince & Princess (Formal Night)
Night 3: Rotational Menu
Night 4: Rotational Menu
Night 5: Rotational Menu
Night 6: Villains Night (Semi-Formal)
Night 7: Unannounced
Night 8: Unannounced
Night 9: Pirate Night
Night 10: Flavors of Scandinavia
Night 11: Captain's Gala (Semi-Formal)
Night 12: Till We Meet Again

LOL.. so are you taking in Laundry that Day????:rotfl2:

We might be doing the same.

With so many of us on for the two cruises, I think that there will be many of us doing laundry. Maybe we should create a signup sheet for the laundry room and post on the laundry door. :rotfl:

Yes, I think after 3 days in Barcelona, 10 days in the Med and 7 days in the Repo, I will be doing laundry for maybe the third or fourth time that day. LOL.

I call the washers and dryers on the seventh floor!!!:laundy:

At least you don't have to have quarters anymore....KTTW cards work there now, too.

When did they implement that??? That is so convenient... Saves me stopping at a US bank to pick up a roll of American quarters :thumbsup2

Received a quote for transportation. 95 pounds each way. Gydell - I used the link that you posted on the other thread.

I'll check just to make sure, but I thought they changed both the Magic and the Wonder over to keys.

:laundy:The Magic uses the KTTW card for washers, driers and those little packets of soap. No need to collect quarters! :laundy:

Plus, if you order room service, they have added a tip line so you don't have to give out dollar bills anymore, you can just charge the tip to your stateroom when you sign that you received your food.

That's awesome b/c we usually run out of dollar bills by the end of the cruise.

You may be right but since I heard the other Baltic cruises had 2 semis I ask why we didn't and was told that the 1st Baltic only had 1.:confused3

That doesn't make a lot of sense. Of course a lot of things they do don't make sense. Oh well, I'll just plan for semi-formal.
