Northern Sights and Mickey's MAGICal Delights-1st Baltic Cruise-June 12,2010-Pt 2

We've been pretty quiet on here for a couple of days, I think I even miss the weather and football reports!:goodvibes
School is now out for the next 2 weeks, last weekend of our latest play and we are hosting the cast party for 50 on Sunday!
Disney Christmas Trivia~ Where and when was the first Candlelight Processional?
The person who answers gets to ask the next question!:santa:

I know the first Candlelight Processional was at Disneyland and if I remember correctly it was in front of the train station, but I can't remember if it started with the 1st Christmas in 1955 or if it began a few years later.

In football news: (in case anyone missed it:lmao:) Mark Ingram brought home Alabama's first Heisman Trophy last weekend!!!! I know, I'm only slightly biased.:rotfl:

I've got all of my shopping done. Just got a few more presents to wrap and get under the tree. Got to go get the turkey this weekend, Christmas dinner is at our house. Got to pick up the house.:wizard: to clean the house, maybe.

Not that I was pulling for Ingram, BUT...... he did seem like a nice guy that was grateful for the win.

I have all my shopping finished - wrapped and waiting. You can call a maid to have your house cleaned, that's what I do!

Did you all see that Adventures by Disney was going to have a program on the Magic in the Med? You sign up (and pay of course) and they handle every excursion/activity. I'm wondering if they would do this in the Baltic. Lauren and I absolutely loved our ABD excursion in London/Paris.

I saw that as well. It looks really interesting. I'd like to see them offer this for the Baltic as well. At first I didn't think it was a good deal, but the more I though about it, the more it made sense. Your tips are included, specialized shore excursions, onboard activities, etc for $2800 an adult.

We loved our ABD to Italy as well and would love to do another again someday.

Another lover of ABD here ... Done the London/Paris trip and the Backstage Magic one. Hoping they go to Greece or Japan some day!

To the person who designed your awesome "Logo" design...
I LOVE IT!:love::love: What talent!
I was wondering if I could lift it and make some changes for our Cruise (June 24th) to change the dates and Remove Helsinki and add Talin?
If not; I totally understand. It is teriffic.

I didn't design it but I have no problem with you using it. It is great isn't it?

I had read something about being able to see the amount of your OBC in your reservation, so I went in and retrieved ours to check. I didn't see the amount, but what I did notice is that we moved from GTY cat 4 to an assigned cat 4!

I'm really surprised that this happened so far out, but happy to see it as I like having details nailed down (e.g., a little annoyed at DLP right now for not having reservations open yet for post-cruise). DW (ArizonaRita) made the original reservation on opening day after being on hold for around 90 minutes, so we had been disappointed when we got GTY.

Did anybody else move out of GTY this week?

Chris

Good Morning Cruisers!

We are also ready for Christmas - all the cards are out, all the presents wrapped and shipped or under the tree! Yesterday we shopped for Christmas dinner - now we just have to wait a few more days!

The Adventures by Disney excursions sound interesting. We did have a great time in Peru!

Have a great week all! Happy Holidays if I do not make it back before Christmas!

Hi everyone! Happy Holidays! We were booked on the June 24th Baltic cruise, but both couples we were sailing with changed their minds and bailed on us. So...since we also knew two couples (who are very good friends) already sailing on the June 12th cruise, we changed our plans and are now booked for the 12th as well! We are very excided to be joining all of you!:yay:

It is addicting isn't it? Love these longer cruises, but dreading the long flight to London. We are planning on arriving a couple a days before we sail to see some of London and shake off the jetlag.

Thanks for the warm welcome! We are really looking forward to this cruise. My grandparents were from Sweden and ABBA is one of my all time favorite singing groups.

We have a day flight with no overnight so I'm looking forward to not having to sleep on the plane!
