I love the Candlelight Processional. Hope you enjoy it. Connie

I figured out excursions won't be out until Feb. 27, 2010. What date has everyone else figured out?
Connie

The first Med cruise is April 24th and the excursions came out November 24th whic is 5 months to sail date. Using this logic, our cruise sails on June 12, hence our excursions should be out January 12. That's my guess?

I'm personally hoping for December 1st though :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

After much juggling we'll be aboard the Inaugural Baltic Cruise. DH & I were originallly scheduled to do WB & EB Transatlantic switched to 2nd Baltic ater discovering our son (20 years old) could join us on this trip as his summer jobs didn't require him in June. Now he's found out he has to be in California on 6/24/09 So we've moved the reservation up.

Also I'm exploring a private tours for excursions has anyone looked at any smaller group tours to share with another family? We are particularly looking at this for St Petersburg and Berlin. We've done this beore on the Panama Canal Cruise and repo cruise.

I haven't read through the whole thread yet -- will do so to catch up.

Welcome aboard bridgemanva! I sent you an email at your hotmail account.

As I previously posted' I'll be traveling with my husband and 19yo son. We want to do guided tours in Berlin and St Petersburg- the other ports we're comfortable with doing on our own. In both ports time is so short and there is so much to see. I've done some research aand I've been in touch with SPB tours they're reputable and do both St Petersburg and Berlin they do various sized tours, will customize it and offer some discounts early booking/group size/multitour. With the costs or the cruise and airfare and looking at the costs of some of the DCL excursions for the Med cruises I'm concerned we'll be priced out plus I'd like to plan/budget more in advance than DCL's release dates for excursions will allow me to.

If anyone is interested in joining a group tour I'd love to talk with you and share the info. kathybridgeman@hotmail.com)

Just noticed that effective yesterday, Air Canada is now charging for the 2nd checked bag. This is effective for flights on or after January 19. The charge for the 2nd bag is $50.

I booked my flight in October, so hopefully I can still bring the second bag. I'm on hold with them now to confirm.

ETA - I'm okay ... I can still check 2 bags !

Welcome to the new cruisers!!!

Just got home from a 10 day vacation including a short cruise and a couple of days in WDW. I am leaving again in the morning for a couple of days so I am behind in this thread and probably will be be for awhile! I may be asking for a review when I get back!

Emily - I got you a couple of things - do you want them mailed or not? Just let me know.

Good Morning Cruisers!

I am again back for my weekly post!

Welcome to the new cruisers!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, we both worked Friday, but did get our outside lights up - then the weekend was not as ugly as predicted, so we would have been OK to work outside. This weekend we will concentrate on inside decorations - Scott is planning a party for next weekend.

Have a great week all!

Gydell, if you want you can just bring them with you in January. If that's not too much trouble. Thank you so much!!!!!

Sounds great!

I'm in Birmingham at a party now and all I can say is - GO GATORS!!!

Thanks!!!! Do you know when you're coming next month? We're pretty much available any weekend, however we might make another trip back down here sometime during the month I just don't know when yet. Probably during the middle of the month. Still pretty preliminary in planning though.

ROLL TIDE ROLL--2009 SEC CHAMPS!!!!!:thumbsup2

Hi Everyone

We got our Christmas decorations up last weekend, it felt a bit early but our new baby is due at the end of the week and I was kinda hoping it would be early! Can hardly move now!

Had some good news on the finance front, my mum & dad are cashing in an insurance they'd forgotten about and plans to split it between the children so with any luck this will tip the balance to us being able to cruise :cool1:

Still depends on the exchange rate and how long our old battered car hangs on but looks way more likely now!

Hope you're all getting on ok. It's getting closer and closer now - we'll being relying on you for excursion info etc as with a newborn I can't imagine we'll have as much time for research as we'd like.

Looking forward to seeing everyone's holiday decorations. Ours are very small and modest as we'll be busy enough with the baby without having to take down tons of decorations.

Kit

Just wanted to say hi, see how your holiday season is going, whose trees and decorations are up and twinkling:santa:
Had my big cookie exchange party yesterday, our holiday play at the new theater is going well, going to see nephews in their play today, DH is hanging outside lights and the house was ready for the party.
A new December baby! Good luck Kit! December babies are awesome, and I should know!:goodvibes
Just a little over 6 months now! Time for me to get on the boards and stay here!
TTFN!:hippie:
