Northern Sights and Mickey's MAGICal Delights-1st Baltic Cruise-June 12,2010-Pt 2

Where can I find out which hotels Disney is using in London?

I know they're listed somewhere on DCL's site, but here they are for you if you can't find them right away. It's Park Plaza County Hall, Renaissance Chancery Court and Grosvenor House. They're all located in London. Renaissance and Grosvenor are both Marriott hotels and Park Plaza really looked nice (it's actually my first choice). I liked that on their website it told what sites it was close to, the other two didn't. Park Plaza seems pretty centrally located.

It was great, ABD might be replacing some of our cruises, more later as time allows.

I know what you mean. I'd love to do the Germany ABD and Australia as well. Glad you had a great time. Can't wait to hear all about it and see pics.:thumbsup2

Hi all! I wanted to say hi before we head off for our our western carribean DCL. We're still on this one and we booked the LA to Vancouver and first Alaska cruise :cool1:

Lisa this is my first post on this thread and I am fairly new to Dis but not to DCL. My DH, DS and her DH are all on this cruise. My DH and I are also on the LA Vancouver and first Alaska cruise. You folks seem to have a lot of fun.

We DO have a lot of fun!

We are back from Peru, still trying to get everything unpacked and back to normal here. I will go thru all the pictures later today, deleting all the bad ones. We came back to snow and cold! I am not ready for winter yet!!!!

Have a great day all!

We're staying three pre-nights at the Park Plaza County Hall. It was the only hotel that had rooms which could sleep three. I was able to book directly with the hotel for considerably less than the Disney-negotiated rate, which I'm still on the waitlist for anyway. Arranged for hotel/port transfer, but cannot get airport/hotel transfer since I am not booked a the hotel through Disney. However, airport transfers available through this site: http://dot2.hudsonltd.net/res?USERIDENTRY=97760&LOGON=GO I haven't booked the airport transportation yet since the flight numbers or times are sure to change closer to the time.

Seems like the Alaska Cruises have grab the attention for teh moment, but I am pretty excited about this trip....Heck just got teh American Express bill for our air to Heathrow, and for Heathrow to Paris, and a few of the Hotels before. Need to get transport form London to Paris most likley will use EuroStar.

Heck we have two trips to WDW this month , then the Goofy challenge in January.

I'm still definitely excited about this cruise as well!!!!! Got a lot to plan for it between now and then though.

We've also got a trip to WDW coming up in Nov. and then we've got several trips planned after the Baltic to keep me busy for awhile.

Good Morning Cruisers!

Yes, now that we are back from Peru, we can concentrate on planning for this trip! Will dig out all the travel books for reading material!

Have a great day all!

It was great, ABD might be replacing some of our cruises, more later as time allows.

ABD told me on the member cruise that they are going to start an ABD on DCL......I think they are rolling it out pretty soon. They were working on the final details is what they said....

We are thinking of doing the ABD in Germany June 28th right after this cruise.

Good Morning Cruisers!

We heard on our trip to Peru that DCL is ABD's biggest competition. Maybe that is why they are doing something on DCL.

Have a great day all!

With all the B2B Alaska cruisers on here, we'll have to have a meet and greet on the ship next June!

ABD/DCL sounds like a blast. I love ABD. I've done the London/Paris adventure and Backstage Magic. Can't wait to see if they ever go to Greece or Japan. I would be jumping on board so fast if they do!

We'll definitely have to do a meet for all of the Alaska cruisers.

We did ABD Viva Italia (Rome, Tuscany and Venice) earlier this year and absolutely loved it. I'd love to do London/Paris, Germany and Australia as well to name a few. If they ever did one to Japan my DH would be on board in a split second. I'm really surprised they don't have one there considering they've got Tokyo DL there.

I hear you .... My daughter wants to go there so badly. Me, I'm more into Greece, but you could twist my arm to go to Japan! The only problem we would have is if they offer both at the same time.

Just thought I would check my flights out again and found a seat sale!:banana:

This afternoon, the flight was $2900+ Canadian. I just booked the exact same flight for $1712 for the 2 of us. :dance3::dance3:

We will be arriving at 9:00 am on June 10, and leaving at 3:00 pm on June 24. Both direct flights!!!! and both allow 2 suitcases each at 23 kg (50 lbs) a piece!!!

Now the cruise is real!!!

Great deal!!! We found one of those for our flights to Orlando for Nov. $295 was much better than the almost $500 we had been looking at for months.

I'm doing the Happy Dance :dance3::dance3:

Checked the flight out today, and the one I booked is back up to $2900.

Guess it paid off to check it out on Monday.

Spoke to Air Canada today, and they mentioned they have a price matching policy. If I send them a screen image of my flight at a cheaper price, they will refund me the money.:banana:

Wow!!!! I wish Delta did that, but I highly doubt it. To them it's tough luck better luck next time, more money in our pockets.:rotfl:

Guess I need to think about booking our flights for the cruise. Still debating about whether or not we are doing the ABD in Germany after the cruise. Gotta figure out if I can take all that time off work or not.

Plan on using FF miles unless the cash price is really low.

Good Morning Cruisers!

Woke up to snow here this morning, and it is still snowing! I am SO not ready for this! Will be headed for WDW tomorrow, so we be out of it at least for the weekend!

Have a great day all!

Have a great time, Lynn! Nancy and Norm will also be there so you may bump into them. I think they are getting together with Robert and Linda one night. We arrive Friday evening, but no WDW for us this trip. We head straight to the cruise terminal the next morning where we will join N&N. When we return it will be only one more week until ING NYC! :scared1: My condolences regarding the white stuff! ;)
