For some reason I thought you might say that. There's definitely a lot of choices not far from that area. South Huntsville has really built up in the last 5 years or so. Some of our favorites are down there; Panara Bread, Five Guys Burgers, etc.

Lynn is having an adventure in travel I am in Jacksonville for work, WDW was fun, next trip is in two weeks and that will be a real vacation for a few days....

We have our air Denver to Heathrow, was just over $1,000 each... seemed ok at the time.

Will start my studying for this trip soon, so much to do. We still need to get a hotel in London, waiting for the DVC places to become available.

We are waiting for the DVC places also, want to spend a couple of days in London afterwards.

Gibson's is my dh's favorite! We both grew up off of Whitesburg. Any mall is good for me!!!

Definitely agree with that!!!!

Bridge Street is really nice, but it's all outdoors and since it will be January it will be cold. So Parkway Place is my next recommendation. Madison Square has nothing left in it, even one of the anchor stores is empty. Plus, Parkway Place is literally right up the street from Gibson's.

We had a good trip to WDW for the RFTT. I did much better than I expected to. I came home to snow and cold, after record heat in Orlando.

Welcome home Lynn!!!! Glad you and Scott had a great trip to Orlando and that the race went well. Hope the temps weren't too bad. And hope the snow and cold back home aren't too bad.

It started out foggy again this morning, but it looks like the fog is starting to burn off. It should be warmer today, and I expect the snow to be gone today or tomorrow. We will be back to the 60's by the weekend - just in time for Scott's return!

Yes, I finished the race, did better than I expected to do, knee is about the same, dull ache most of the time. It was no worse for the race.

It has been cold and miserable here in Utah too. I can't believe we have snow already. It is suppose to warm up here this weekend to, going to be 70 I think.

Me too! Our snow is gone, and it is supposed to be close to 70 tomorrow here also! But it will be back into the 50's next week, at least, we are not talking snow again!

We are a family of 4 Aussies doing this cruise (although I notice not much of the talk is about this cruise!) Nice to see everyone is so friendly.

We have done one DCL 3 day bahamas cruise before, and are so excited about this one.

We were thinking of staying the night before in Canterbury as others have mentioned it is nicer than Dover. Also trying to get self contained accom in London, but will probably head over to France for a week or so before heading back to London.

Is anyone going to see a show while in London? I was going to purchase tickets for The Lion King (since my daughter has not seen the live show) this week but wanted to make sure that there was not something else out there that might be of interest before purchasing the tickets. We are going to see Mary Poppins in Houston next Friday, so probably will not want to see that again. My daughter will be 7 at the time of the cruise so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Both. He turned 7 last month, so will still be 7 when we travel. DD will turn 5 in December.

I really haven't thought about it. I thought we might be too tired from the days activities to think about something at night. I'll have to look into it....
