Right so now I have the laptop, logged in and can click on the excursions and add to saved activities ..... then what? Is it teasing me and they're actually sold out? There doesn't seem anyway to take it any further?? Any one still out there who can tell me please?!

I got all my first choice excurstion except for the Hadeland Glass Works and Viking SHips - it seems to be sold out. Everything else is still available. It took numerous, numerous log on but I did it, even Palo for dinner. One thing I learned quick, save itinerary after every item added because if it kicks you out you lose all the unconfirmed items even if they are listed on your itineary. Keep trying, it evenually works. The only thing I did get was a spa item. It told me to come back in 20 min. but I am exhausted, will try in A.M. Good luck and Good Night!

I couldn't stay awake to 11:00 pm last night to book (I spent a very long day at DD state swim meet) but I got up at 5:00 a.m today and got everything I wanted, except Palo Brunch. I was booted off the system at least 20 times, especially at the end (I think more people were logging on). I got Palo for dinner on Day 6 (at sea) and a spa treatment on Day 2 at sea.
Now, comes the time when I start to second guess my choices.

I am still getting the same error I got last night. So I will try again in 20 minutes after I cleared by cookies and such. If not I will be calling DCL, which may not speak to me because I booked with a TA. And my TA is not available today.

What baffles me is that DCL has only 2 ships! What is going to happen when they bring the Dream online and then the Fantasy! Their system can barely handle 2 ships, what will it do with 4.

So I called DCL this morning. (Gotta love that their first option is if you are having challenges with the website ). I was able to book the last 2 excursions.

We are seeing Santa!!

I'll check later to make sure everything is booked later.

Good morning all! Sorry to hear some of you had problems last night. I learned on my last cruise about the "Save Itinerary" button. It was so frustrating then that this time I saved after each selection.

We always end up with Palo brunch even if we just walk by and ask if they have room for us so I'm not worried. And if not - I don't need all that extra food!

I agree; on the Med cruise they called our room to tell us that a brunch reservation had opened up. By that time we were so stuffed from eating that we took a pass on the brunch. Plus there is always so much to do on the days at sea.

So I know I'm not going to be able to get a Palo brunch until we board the ship but could somebody have a look and let me know if the Helsinki Highlights and Finnish Food Tasting is still available. It's going to be tricky for me to get an internet connection on March 29th and if both of the things I want are not available then I can save myself the effort.

I'd thought I'd hear something by now. Hasn't the PAID -IN-FULL date pasted? I called Disney and they couldn't tell me anything /said waitlist is handled out of corporate. . If I'm OUT I'd like to know so I can explore other cruise companys. Any and all help would be appreciated. Would it have helped if I would have booked a Cat #4 and requested to be waitlisted for cat #3?[/B]

I don't know anything about it being handled out of corporate, but I know typically they won't tell you where you are on the waitlist b/c they don't want it to come back and bite them if you were to find out about someone getting a room you were waiting for and you thought you were #1 or # so and so in line.

We were booked originally in 2 Cat. 5's and waitlisted for a Cat. 1 or 2. The Cat. 2 cleared the waitlist early on and then about a month and a half ago a Cat. 1 became available and we were offered the opportunity to upgrade to the Cat. 1, at the difference between the 1 & 2 of course.

I don't think it would have mattered what Cat. you had originally booked. I think we just reached the paid in full date, but most people would have paid by now because you have to be paid in full to book your shore excursions, etc.

What Cat. are you currently booked in? I wouldn't cancel the cruise just because you couldn't get a Cat. 3.
