Should you have the wish to read about all the sordid antics of the past weekend, go here:

northern meet 2002

Don't let small children view it as there are some pictures that might frighten them. If you avoid the ones of Tam you should be ok though.

Cheers

Kev

Kev

SUPERB ! ! ! !

We thoroughly enjoyed the photos, thanks;)

Kevin

Thanks for the report. We passed the turn-off for Sunderland around 4pm on Sunday. We thought you would be all packed up by then, so we did not call in. It took us till 1am in Monday morning to get home anyway. Maybe next year or is there a Christmas Meet??

Well done Kev, and so quick! (and the pictures are excellent India)

Top job, Kev! Just as I asked for - all lies and me lookin good.

Thanks for doin the report, and so quick too. It'll be a treasured momento of a great weekend for, oh, days to come.

Special thanks to India for bein Report Photographer for the weekend.

Great report Kevin Baby - as expected :)

It looks and sounds like you all had a great time - just wished I could have joined you all :)

Thanks for writing :)

Give the photographer a raise in pocketmoney - she did brilliant! :D :D

As they say in BB3 "wicked" report Kevin. A damn fine read and the photos were fab.

BTW - who won the cat fight?

What a brilliant repeort Kev. Thank you.

Is there no end to the Stringer Families talents ;) Thanks India for the photo's

BTW my glowing face was the reflection off Panda's:D

Nice to have met you all

great report - no slanderous comments made about me, and I managed to avoid the photographer, so I'll give it my vote as an accurate account of the weekend:D

Super Pictures India! I especially like the one of SpottyDave's new reclining chair!

Bev

Well done on your report it sounded and looked like you all had great fun, and plenty of beer which is the most important.

I so enjoyed reading the report. Sounds like you all had as good a time as I imagined you all would. I really wish we could've been there to meet you all and join in the fun.

The pictures were great:) There just wasn't enough, more pictures next time! It was great putting some names to faces although none of you were the way I imagined, for example, Dave (SD) I had you pictured exactly the way Dave (DFM) looked, how uncanny is that;) Astrid I was sure you were blonde, don't know why but you were blonde and Kevin you are, of course, even more handsome than I could envision, just as well Tam is as pretty as she is intelligent LOL.

I really look forward to being able to join one of these great occasions sometime.

Annmarie

Nice one as usual Kev!

I think that the pic of dave (SD) needs to be a Caption Competition.

Pity we couldn't make it this time, but gearing up for the Christmas meet though!

Kevin and India thanks for getting the report up so quickly and brilliantly :D

I'm still recovering from Tuesday nights "committee meeting" curry and the 5 hour monsoon soaked drive home today.

Well, what can I say?!! What a fab report Kev!! My cotton socks are thrilled at being blessed and yes, it's surprising how excited a grown man can get over having a little '1st' (oh and 2nd!) sticker stuck on his chest - ah well, little things and all that!!

Glad you had such a good time, us three loved it all and have only just collapsed in an exhausted heap at home (via various accidents - other cars I hasten to add! - torrential rain & flash flooding - oh the things I negotiate just to attend a Meet!).

Anyways, cheers Kevin and thanks for the quiz and hats off to India on the piccies - though I don't quite know what I'm doing at the pub table in the last one - surely couldn't have been a case of too many drinks could it?!!

Annemarie - I was blonde about 35 years ago when I was a mere ankle biter, a lot of people seem to think as I've an exotic (?!)Scandinavian sounding name that I might possess some of their known qualities - ahhh, how I wish!! ;)

Here's to the next Meet!! (hic)

Astrid x (aka Ingrid!) aka Quizmaster Extraordinaire (along with Michelle and Stephanie!)

oh and Bryn & Carys xx

Excellent report Kevin - like a great weekend was had by all. Sounds like the beer was flowing like water - my kind of weekend ;) I'm just sorry I missed it.

Congratulations to the photographer India, looks like a career behind the camera awaits!!

Now, what's this about a Christmas meet??

Yet another Stringer report of note!! Glad you all had a great time, wish we could have been there!!

Astrid, gosh you look like you took your job seriously!!

So are the planning committe now meeting to "wash up" and "analyse" all their successes, and test drive a new Dave proof chair for 2003?

Bet it's in the pub or curry house! ;)

As Evan would say, "jolly good, old Bean!"

Once again, a great report! Thanks for the read!

And India - great pics, sweetie!

Oh yes Fiona - being quizmaster is a job that has to be taken very seriously and also involves partaking of copious amounts of alcohol to assist in the score adding up - it's a tough job but someone has to do it!! :)

Astrid x

Excellent report!

Sounds like you all had a wonderful time.

I spent the weekend booking flights and hotel for a September Orlando holiday. A trip organised purely in the interests of research in case I am lucky enough to get to a meet someday.

Carol

Looks like everyone had a lot of fun. Wish I could have been there.

We sured enjoyed seeing your photos in chat today :)
