I’m looking at the Northern European cities for next June. Unfortunately the rooms left are the panoramic rooms on 12
What I’m thinking of doing is booking it just so have a room with the thought of
watching the website and if theres other rooms that open up will I be able to change
I know some places will let you upgrade but this would be a downgrade
to an OV or balcony
does RC get cancellations often Im used to DCL and watching and if other rooms open you can change is my best bet to keep watching the website
Ive almost been reading how RC has refundable and unreadfundable deposits
never heard of this before is it worth it any thoughs on this
anyone know how much it is
Im really surprised that this cruise is basically sold out over a year in advance
hoping for cancellations

Not sure if you have to be on RCCL or have to go in June, but we are actually on a 12-night European Capitals cruise on Princess in late May. Goes to Bruges, Rotterdam, Oslo, Gothenburg, Copenhagen, Aarhus, Hamburg, and LeHavre. The RCCL was an 8-night and the price for the Princess was about the same for the 12-night.

Sometime if you book through a travel agent you will have access to rooms that are not available on RCCL's website. We wanted to sail on Icon over spring break and it was sold out online but when I reached out to my travel agent she got us booked no problem. Some of the larger travel agencies have group space or rooms available to them that the general public doesn't. At least that's the way it was explained to me by my TA. We always have done non-refundable deposits for domestic cruises and refundable for international cruises. Try using a TA and they will guide you through the ins and outs of booking this trip and will also keep an eye out for what you are looking to move into.
