We went on a 4 day cruise on the Dream and it was wonderful!
Now, we we home and getting VERY excited for this cruise in 8 short months!!
Anyone on this cruise who sailed back in '10? Just curious how different it is to cruise to Europe.

We sailed this past summer in Europe and before that many times in US. Things I really noticed to be different (besides ports)...they let 18 yr olds drink on ship with parental permission. Lol. They brought some wonderful local entertainment on board. We had meals that were for those locales - Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. Those are what stand out in my memories.

Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS as they have since FE began (also here on the DIS).

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving. Other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

It was organized here. The offer for the FE was posted here but all signs of that post are now gone.

It's up to the FE organizer now as to what should happen but I think there are enough in that FE group now. If somebody wants to start a secondary group HERE, there's nobody stopping you. Just remember that everybody's traveling quite a distance to Copenhagen and the more people in the FE then the more you'll have to tote there.

I just got off a 2 night sailing of Quantum of the Seas, and DD and I decided to do the Anthem on this date, rather than the B2B Magic. Especially since we've already done these ports. So if any of you are onboard on the 6th, we will still see you then!

We are arriving to Copenhagen around 6pm on Friday evening. Where should we stay? Is it worth it to stay near some sights or should we just find lodging near the port? We will want to board relatively early (by noon, probably) on Saturday. Any suggestions appreciated!!

Looking forward to trip. I have seen hotel adina mentioned as well as tivoli hotel. We are at the scandic front.

In terms of the cruise. Does Disney have pirate night and fireworks on the northern european cruises. Determining if we need to pack our costumes.

don't know for sure - but would assume yes since we had them last summer in Mediterranean Sea. They were separate nights as we needed to be further away from land for fireworks.

How many of you are repeat cruisers? This will be our 6th Disney Cruise, but first European cruise.

I know that for the Med cruise we took last year, the buses were rolling into the port about the same time we arrived by taxi ... around 11 am, if not earlier. Not sure if it will be the same in Copenhagen.

You need to ask DCL if you don't stay at the DCL hotel, can you still get the transfer from that hotel. That might save you from having to stay at the airport or heading back to the airport. If you're only getting into Copenhagen the day before and have no intention of sightseeing, then you might as well stay at the airport. I suspect it's cheaper there than in the city.

We are planning to fly to Paris from the US on Sunday before the cruise and spend time in Paris and Disneyland Paris and then fly to Copenhagen from Paris for the cruise.
