I'm a little dismayed at what's going on in the Ukraine and Russia's involvement and paint me shallow, but I hope this doesn't make St. Petersburg, the Baltic cruise version of Tunisia (we were supposed to go to Tunisia on the Med cruise in 2011 but Arab spring meant no Tunisia).

I know there's more at stake than our cruise but ...

Hi All!

I'm joining this cruise as the first in a B2B (booking in a couple of weeks - can't fork out 2 deposits in one week! lol).

Made the decision to do the B2B as a friend and I have put off our Oct 2015 WDW trip until Oct 2016!

I'm going solo! It'll be my first solo cruise, but my fourth DCL cruise! I'm a 25 year old from Australia, and I've travelled solo many times before. My B2B cruise will be with two friends, but I'm looking forward to having a week just by myself! Looking forward to exploring the ports and having some spa pampering!

Hi all, we booked on opening day dh, dd 10 and ds 8! I'm hoping the flights aren't outrageous! Any alternatives to flying directly into Copenhagen?

Are you arriving early at all? We're going to price out flying to London vs. Amsterdam vs. Oslo and then plan our pre cruise vacation based on that.

We can't take the kids out of school any earlier so unfortunately a pre-trip is not an option.

I think we might fly into London a couple days early and then arrive in Copenhagen on Friday before. Just depends on airline prices. That's what I'm most concerned about.

I did a preliminary search and actually couldn't find any direct flights to Copenhagen!! All were connecting through London or Amsterdam or somewhere in Germany.
