me if I've made a spelling error, left someone off, wrong cruise, or if you are no longer

Anyone doing pre- or post-cruise Vancouver excursions through DCL? We'll be at the Fairmont Waterfront using DCL's hotel booking post-cruise. We're looking at the Grouse Mt. & suspension bridge tour that includes a city tour. Its a bit hefty on the price tag, but I'm not sure I want to fool with scheduling something myself that day. The idea of being taken around without much thought involved on my part is appealing, lol. I think my parents are going to do maybe the hop-on/hop-off bus, which they can handle themselves.

I resemble that remark! But, alas, am not much of a club person. More a curl up in Cove Cafe with a good book person. This could be part of why I'm single.

I will be hosting a Champagne Girls Tasting for women only on the Alaskan cruise. Every adult woman is invited. You don't have to drink champagne to attend, but it certainly doesn't hurt if you do.

If you are interested in attending please post on this thread, send me your name, stateroom number and category preference.....honorary member, sipper or taster.....so I can determine how much champagne I need to order.

Awesome Michelle, so glad you're joining us. I have always had them on a sea day usually around 2pm....probably Sessions or Diversions. It usually lasts about 2 hrs. We try doing it when the most amount of people may be available.

You aren't too far off. The FE's doubled with the magnets really helped me find my way back to my room, even without the tequila, martini, wine, etc tasting.

sometimes I just had to be careful or rely on the FE because several doors had several of my designs as magnets.

Um..........we find our door by our ROOM NUMBER.

Yes, they are all fish on the Magic and Wonder. That's why the pleasant surprise on the Dream. Now one knows immediately, if you are on the wrong side if the boat (assuming, one notices the fish, sea horses or star fish).

Calling all the Champagne Girls.....I'm about to make an announcement:


I will be hosting a Champagne Girls Tasting for women only on the Alaskan cruise. Every adult woman is invited. You don't have to drink champagne to attend, but it certainly doesn't hurt if you do.

Here's how it works:

I request a room from DCL. I order a variety of champagne from DCL. I put it on my bill. All the ladies attending are required to wear pink. Pink tiaras and boas will be provided for everyone to wear. We will take a group picture that will be very pink. We will "taste," "drink," "guzzle" and consume all the champagne while discussing it and many other things. It's a fun, fun way to spend two hours on a sea day.

We have a mascot, Sassy Bubbles, who is attending and will be dressed as a pink tink. We have ladies who won't drink any champagne, they are honorary members and can attend without any charge. We have ladies who will just have a little champagne and not all of the varieties, they are the sippers and will be charged $5 cash to attend. We have ladies who are drinkers/guzzlers and will drink all the various champagnes offered, they are the tasters and will be charged $10 cash to attend. I collect some money to offset part of the costs to me. In no way does it cover all of my expenses, but I prefer to offer it at a minimal price so that many more ladies will be able to attend. I always say, "the more the merrier."

Our first tasting was done in 2008 and the second in 2009. Since then three other Champagne Girls Tastings have been done by others that attended, not by me. Personally, I think they stole the name PINK for the Champagne Bar on the DREAM from us. hahaha.

Whoo hoo! As a first time cruiser I was able to book my excursions today and got everything I wanted. Including a dinner reservation at Palo. I wonder if those of you who had no luck earlier will now be able to book since they may have "released" more options.
