Well, this comment leads me to belive that the 'appointment' time you make can impact when you are allowed to BOARD. I wonder if they are doing this instead of the boarding numbers, or as a way to allocate boarding numbers? It sure would 'encourage' people to do on-line check in!

I was concerned about the same thing. I completed the online check in back in the beginning of Jan. so I did not realize online check in had been upgraded/changed. I spoke with DCL today since the website was not cooperating due to be B2B. The DCL rep stated the reason for the question on arrival time at port was asked simply to insure proper staffing. Boarding numbers will be provided after you have checked in with your documents. This is suppose to speed the process we shall see.
