North To Alaska--May 3, 2011 on the Disney Wonder

Booked the hotel for the night before the cruise, so 1 more thing down.....friend that is cruising w/ me is coming over tomorrow so that we can finalize the flights. We are staying at the Westin Bayshore before & the Pan Pacific Hotel the night we disembark. Any recommendations as to how to get to/from the airport for not too much $?

Hopefully we get through at 12:01 am to book Palo's and shore excursions. Hopefully will have better luck with brunch reservations on this leg but not holding my breath! Sue

I am praying that we get a brunch and the excursions we are hoping for...I hope you get everything you want.

My cabin mate is handling the booking for us tonight. I get to just relax and watch the new Kathy Bates show on NBC. SHE has to stay up late (Eastern time zone) and do the booking!

I just booked mine. The one I wanted in Ketchikan isn't listed anymore. So I have to go back to the drawing board.

There were no tea or brunch reservations available.

Well, color me disappointed!

None of the three Skagway excursions that go to Haines were even showing up for booking. I was really looking forward to that one.

You are right... Back to the drawing board.

DH is asleep, he'll just have to be surprised with what I booked!

On the upside, the booking itself went very quickly. No problems getting in.

For those who have either an iPhone or iPad, Alaska.org put out a free app recently.

It is called: the Alaska app. I kid you not.

It is gps based, but you can use it now to get content. It has a nice selection of videos of the various areas.

It is going to be a beautiful trip!

What bothers me is we WILL be gold members on this cruise- but not until after the 4/27/11 cruise directly before this cruise... therefore we get no pre-booking benefits of being gold on our first gold member cruise. argh
