What is the dead pass? I sat just watching the queue for over an hour and decided to get a pass. I got this message saying what a VMK pass allows you to do. Please tell me this is NOT a dead pass!

if it doesnt have any buttons on it, (OK or cancel) its a dead pass.

If this helps we were 305 last week and made it in-with 1 minute to spare literally right now I am at 14 so I hope I don't crash! What method does everyone use to ge in? Do you just keep fitting the refresh button, or keep hitting the search button, do you go all the way out and keep searching the most popular room list? Just curious? By the way, aengus, now that I've saved you by admitting yes over 300 does stand a chance of amking it in, what are Lily's favorite colors?

no a dead pass is when you get one of those passes but all the information doesnt load up properly, so you are just left with a blank box on the screen with nothing to do.
I dont think that you can ever recover from a dead pass as a side note, but again with what aengus said... wait for other peoples opinions.

I was sitting with a dead pass and was able to make it in. It will ask you while you are in room if you want a pass finally just hit cancel.

And low and behold it happened to me yet again this week: Dead Pass But this week, two completely blank windows, nothing to click on, no way around it.

Now, I am going to try and just sit in limbo with this blank screen and see if I do get in. I have not been dc yet, and I've been sitting this way for an hour and a half. So that tells me something must be working. I have no access to friends list or messages either.

I'll report back, If I ever do get in, or dc finally ...

Well, I hope all of you are having better luck than me. Earlier in the month I had this

Today I decided not even to click for a VMK pass. Why take a chance?
I just waited in the old style queue. My pass started at 75. At around 12:42 it was down to 1.

One minute later instead auto loading of the host room...This auto loaded. Believe me I thought it was just lag and waited 10 minutes to see the host room. No host room for me.

VMK_Doc please fix this problem! As most of you know I'll miss next week too because I leave for WDW on Friday.

I guess some things are not meant to be. And if this is the worst thing that happens to me today. I guess I'm doing okay.

But, I just got into event.

So I guess a dead pass does work, just don't touch it.

You can see by my pictures, there isn't anything to do but wait and you have no idea where you are at in queue.

Well I just wanted to let people know that there is hope I guess. If you get a dead pass like I did, it may not function like it's supposed to, but eventually you might get into an event (depending on where you were at in queue, when you get the blank dialog boxes). As far as not dc'ing ... not sure how that happens?
