North Dakota Pin w/ James, question....

My pin North Dakota has "The Garden State" imprinted on the back, isn't the garden state, NJ? Could this be an error, anyone else have the same pin to compare it to. TIA

The back of my ND pin says "Peace Garden State" and the back of my NJ pin says "Garden State" Both are the correct nicknames. If yours is different, then perhaps it is an error. HTH

I have two of this pin. Both read on the back, "Garden State".

2angels -- I wonder if we got ours at the same place and maybe these were error pins and pulled from the shelves originally.

Maybe, I got mine from a cast lanyard last month. I was thinking of posting on a few pin sites and seeing what I find. All the ones I've checked on CM lanyards and other pin traders say "Peace Garden"...weird. NJ is the "Garden State".

Weird... you know I thought I traded for mine but they were from the CM Pin Party bags, maybe they were misprints. Hum.

since I wnet to North dakota for the first time last yr and going back again this yr! my friends andmy niece/godchild live there I had to get the north dakota pin for my state collection and got a 2nd one to give my friend since she was born there and still resides i got here one too!
Both came off CM lanyards and knowing what I read here on this post i looked at both of them and they both have the garden state on them! I go them both this past week at two different areas! I got one in one of the parks ( i think it was MK) and the other out of the pin trading book at WOD at DTD
