Norm and I will be heading "home" to Key West this coming Thursday ----While there we do intend to check out somethings and also if anyone has any questions or stuff to check out, just drop me a note at snelsonbrown@aol.com -----We will be home Monday and will post what I have found out.

I know this question has nothing to do with Key West but I was wondering about a basket. How many weeks in advance should I call to order a couple of baskets for my kids? Two weeks?

I have seen your baskets in pictures and they look perfect for our first cruise.

According to Mapquest.com, it takes about 7½ hours.

Just wanted to say hello and thank-you for all the wonderful info you added to my DD's basket. She was thrilled with her bag and has carried it everywhere since we left the cruise. She slept with her Minnie Mouse every night. You did a fabulous job!!

Hey Dave and all those that posted to this thread - Now it normally did take Norm about 6 1/2 hrs to make the trip back and forth cause he never stopped ANYWHERE - he just wanted to get back home but since he and I are now a couple, when we travel it does take longer - I have him stop at the tropical fruit stand in Homestead and after I have had my fill, we stop at a Latin restaurant called Denny's that is unbelieveable in Key Largo - then of course we must let Tia run a bit - we take about 8 1/2 hrs to get home

As for the question on the Western Union, I have all that information that goes out with the free packages that I offer anyone that wants them.

As for the baskets, we like about 2 weeks notice just in case we have to pick up something special, but the baskets are not made until 1 to 2 days before delivery. Anytime anyone has questions about baskets, flowers, etc - just call me.

Now for the Western cruisers going this weekend - when you are in Key West and have questions, you can call me on my cell which is 321-508-2246 -

Have a wonderful time. Sure wish I was heading down again. We had such a great time in June just walking around the town. The kids were so in to the clubs that it was just DH and I. We hit every pub!

Sorry I didn't explain that - my hands were typing faster than my brain was thinking ------ some of the baskets just have been delivered late to the rooms - and I just wanted to give folks a name they could ask for in Housekeeping instead of thinking we messed up - the gifts are delivered to housekeeping by 10:30AM but it takes awhile for things to get going since everyone is so busy with so much - it isn't my baskets only, it is DCL's also - at first I thought I was being picked on but I really knew better than that -
The reason I gave my cell phone number is that I will be in Key West when the Magic gets there Sunday - I am thinking very serious of being there when she pulls in -
Anyhow gotta go = Norm and I leave tomorrow and have so much to do.

Hope you and Norm have a great trip home. Your help with the baskets and Key West info is greatly appreciated. Thanks for the info on Housekeeping as well. I was one of those people who panicked when my basket wasn't where it was supposed to be - thanks for being patient with me

I'm part of the group going on the 10 day Christmas Cruise in 2004. We are doing a newsletter and I'm planning on talking about Key West in our next issue (Octboer). Would you mind if I put the information in on how to get the packets from you? I'd also like to put in information on your shop (but plan on doing that closer to the cruise next year).

Good morning - Norm had to be put into the hospital last night so I have cancelled all plans on going home to Key West - As for all the notes posted here - thank you so much for all of the kindness
Any way I can help anyone especially with questions concerning Key West is most welcomed to call me or post it in newletters.
