And I am sooo p.o.'ed about this frickin storm! It was a mild winter until NOW- my birthday!! Grrrrr!!!! I'm supposed to do lunch on Sat and I have reservations.

On my sweet 16th birthday, I got the heck outta this area and flew to my first WDW trip :)
Happy Birthday to you. My birthday was on Tuesday the 7th, but I was going out to celebrate on Saturday night. That is now cancelled as we are now under a BLIZZARD WARNING.

I haven't even listened to the weather lately. I wonder if we are supposed to get any snow in Connecticut? :confused3

Well Dr. Mel just posted a BLIZZARD WATCH :scared1: for Sat u\into Sun for us down here on the shore.

I can only imagine the grocery stores. But maybe it will go the way of the huge noreaster we didn't get a few weeks ago.

Deanna :bored: :cat:

We are getting it Sunday. We currently have NO SNOW on the ground, so I guess we are due. Doesn't mean I have to like it though. :sad2:

I want a blizzard. Just one. We haven't had a good one in a really long time. We won't get it though. We are along the coast so if it snows at all it'll eventually change to rain. Bummer. :sad1:

I am flying up to Boston tomorrow and trying to fly out on Sunday to Orlando. Sure hope my flight isn't delayed.

Everyone is telling me that it will make me appreciate FL. Trust me I do. :) I moved to FL so I didn't need to deal with snow.
eekk, not to sure on this one. It is suppose to snow most of the day on Sunday. Unless maybe you have a later evening flight. I have friends coming home from a cruise, flying into Logan. should be interesting! Good luck :goodvibes

As of late lastnight, they are now calling for at least 12 inches here in my area with surrounding area's getting up to 15! They also said that the numbers could go higher today. I think I will have to have DH pick up some milk and bread, that is all I need.

Glad i went food shopping yesterday morning. I didn't know snow was coming until last night. The store is going to be packed. I hate the snow, but if we are going to get it I rather have it on Sat. into Sun.

All I can say is . . . . :cold:

Ok, who wants to have a pity party for my DD who will be working at a grocery store tomorrow from 9 - 3?

I will join you. My dd used to work at one, I know what ya mean!

Now everyone will be running to the supermarket to stock up on milk, bread, and toilet paper.

It sounds like we could get anything from a few inches to a foot, depending upon how those 2 fronts meet. Only time will tell!

If we do get snow, I think I'll break out the board games (dd will play Disney Monopoly for hours on end) and maybe have a "movie night" with the kids at home.

Stay snug and cozy, everyone!

I would love to play Disnye Monopoly, count me in. I'll bring the popcorn! :thumbsup2

Does anyone know about how much snow LI should expect? I have heard reports from 4" to 1ft!! There is a big difference there. I just hope they plow better this time than the last.

For all affected by this, GOOD LUCK! Try not shovel too much and stay warm. :sunny:

Anyone know when it's supposed to hit NH? I can't tell that well from the online maps, and I never get a chance to watch tv here

They are calling for a start time in S. Jersey around 10:00am on Saturday Morning. Now I feel like a nice tray of homemade lasagna. Have to go and see if I have everything to make it! Sure Mom will go to the store this morning, as she said she has to go anyway!

Joining other New Englanders in the storm watch. The local news predicted a 3-6 inches for our area, which is definitely not as bad as some of the other predictions.

:rolleyes2 Yuck yesterday they said a few inches...not today! I am supposed to be having DS, 17, birthday bash tomorrow night! It looks like I will have abou 6 extra teens bunking at my house! :yay:

Here in Southern NH the snow is supposed to start tomorrow afternoon and go into Sunday. Yuck!

CNN is reporting that the storm has shifted & DC should be hit hard, but not so for NYC.... it's staying further out to sea... also meaning Cape Cod would be hit hard, but they didn't mention Boston North & West....

So, hopefully we will just dodge this bullet like we have for most of the others!
