Noooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!

Oh my heavens, I would die if DH shaved his head. You poor lady! He's lucky you love him, that's all I can say! :rotfl:

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: my DH would never do it. His DF made him keep a crew cut when he was a kid and never has cut his hair short again. Picture his 1973 senior yearbook and he is the only kid in the whole school wearing a crew cut and you can understand why he wouldn't do it.

DS, well thats a different story. He has done it a couple of times. While I don't like the look on him, he had beautiful hair, I understand why he does it.
He was in the army until last week and he lost most of his hair in Iraq. Its the only time I have ever heard of anyone losing their hair in the war, but they said it was because of the stress and the helmet he lost his hair. Now it keeps it almost shaved because it looks strange with all the bald places in it.

Maybe you will learn to love it (I don't think I would) or he will let it grow back.

You will have to ask him if all of his friends jumped off a bridge would he do it too??????? That was the peer pressure line my DM use to use on me!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3: I have always wanted to use that smiley and I thought this would be the perfect time to use it!!!

Just want to add.......

That guy on American Idol with no hair looks like an onion with ears. With that pasty white skin, he looks DUMB bald. However, if he let his hair grow, I think he'd be nigh on to being plumb attractive! :thumbsup2

My DH does it every Spring and keeps it bald all summer.I think it looks good on him especially when he lets it grow long all winter and his beard too (yuk)

Well at least this is the weekend to do it...my friends daughter was down at one of the St. Baldricks Day drive places shaving peoples heads for them. They have St. Baldricks every year now at this time and each year they raise more and more money. There were men, women, teenage girls, young kids...all types getting their heads shaved for charity this weekend around here! Around here he would just look like a good guy that had his head shaved for a cancer charity!

Now see I would do that! Just once shave it all off and start from scratch. I'd know what color my hair really is (and how gray) AND it would benefit a charity.

C'mon it's only hair. It grows back. If that's the worst thing he'll ever do, I think you have no worries, then.

DH started shaving his head years ago and I love it!!!! (Pic- left) When I see old pictures of him with hair, it's weird. BTW, the guy on American Idol does look ridiculous. We talk about that every time it's on. He really looks sickly. It takes a certain look to pull off a baldy. He doesn't have it.

From a practical stand point it is a good idea. You mentioned that his is a Deputy.

Well, he came home this morning and DD(4) saw her daddy for the first time...she started to cry.

He looks just as bad today as he did last night. He did say 3 other deputies shaved their heads.

I don't know what the proper name for these things are but he has the blood red wart looking things like grandmas have... he thought he only had one in front -- I told him I was going to connect the dots with all of his grandma red wart things. He says "I only have one" I respond "Have you ever looked at the back of your naked head" He responded :scared1: :scared1:

Ha Ha Ha

I'll try to sneak a pic of him today -- he's already in bed sleeping. That's the best time you know ;)

I don't like it shaved shiny to the scalp. But I do like it when there is a shadow of hair - barely stubble. That's just me. :cool2:

My DH has a tiny little pin head...he'd look like Zippy if he shaved it!
Unfortunately, his hair is thinning, and it's a distinct possibility that he'll end up bald anyway. I'd actually rather see a little male-pattern baldness than the shiny-scalp-peeking-through-the-remaining-hairs look he's got going on. Does anyone ever shave just the peek-a-boo parts? (wow, that sounds odd...)

My DH started shaving his head also - I HATE it -

I like him with hair, he use to shave it in the summer and let it grow in the cooler weather. Now he likes it shaved all the time. I am always asking him to let it grow.

I don't know about you, but my husband (if I had one) would not be telling me what I could or couldn't do with my hair.

My husband does not tell me what I can do with my hair either. However I did tell him that he is never ever to shave his head again. This was about 6 months before we got married and he was hanging out at the fire dept and they all decided to shave their heads in very short crew cuts. Well my Dh is very fluffy and short and him shaving all of his hair off made him look like a mean grump. He also had to have his drivers license made with that hair cut and he looks back at it and asks what was I thinking. My kids also saw that picture and they both told him that they didn't want him to ever get his hair cut that way. I have nothing against men that like the bald look or the crew cut look. Some look very attractive that way and some don't. Oh and all the other firemen that shaved their heads that night got fussed at too by their wives and girlfriends.

I don't know about you, but my husband (if I had one) would not be telling me what I could or couldn't do with my hair.

I'm with you, I do what I want to my hair and my husband does what he wants to his hair. I think a lot of women who tell their husband's what they can and can't do to their har would be so ticked if their husbands turned around and tried to tell them what they "could" and "could not" do with their hair. In fact, if my husband ever told me that I "couldn't" do something to my hair, and meant it, I would probably go do it just to spite him. :)

All that I said, I would LOVE it if my husband would shave his head.

DF likes to shave his head down to a stubble on the sides, slightly longer on top. I used to HATE it, and I neary cried the first time I saw it, but I am used to it for the most part now. He claims that "all cops do it so that there is nothing to grab on to". Sure. :sad2:

We told my Uncle Ian he had to shave his head because he had bad hair, and he only shaved the top:

They say "Bald is Beautiful". Well at least my dad says that. He didn't shave his off though. It just kind of fell out. :teeth:

I wish mine would shave his head (you reading this mister?!?!) I'm sick and tired of the girly hair flipping mullett! It's not attractive, shave that furry mess off already!!

:scared1: :scared1: I just walked downstairs to find DH in the bathroom shaving his head bald. :scared1: :scared1:

He's asked me to do it 3 times today and I said no. All the deputies were doing it. ACK!!!!! This may be totally inappropriate but he looks like a fat Charles Manson! :scared1: Right now I'm thinking thank goodness he works nights so I don't have to wake up to that. :scared1: :scared1:
