NOOOOO.. we leave in three days and...

I have a sinus infection and DH just got another attack of gout!

I am on antibiotics and DH is on his way home from the doctor. He got meds to help get the uric acid out of his body fast.. if it is better by Thursday they told him to come back and they will give him an injection that will kick it out FAST.

This could be an interesting trip. If by chance ya see this short woman and two girls 16 and 12 pushing around this tall man in a wheel chair wave.. that could be us... but I am really hoping it doesn't get to that.

If I didn't know better, I would have thought I had written that post.
I always have my fingers crossed that my allergies/asthma/sinus don't act up on trips and DH's gout doesn't flare up.

I know how you feel, I ALWAYS get a sinus infection while ON vacation. I always bring along nasonex and vicks nasal spray. I hope you feel better soon. I leave in 3 days too so I'll probably be right there along with you

My Doc put me on a Z-Pack just two days before my trip for a sinus infection. Worked like a charm! Took my last pill in the pack the morning I got on the plane. What a relief!

You poor thing. I know exactly what it's like to have a sinus infection at WDW. It happened to me twice where I had a fever all week and was disoriented. Drink alot of water and take some steamy showers since both will help to clear your sinuses. I hope you're well too. It's a good thing it happened now and not during your trip. I hope your husband heals fast too...that gout is very painful.

Thanks everyone.

My sinus's are getting better..slowly and Ian (DH) is feeling a little less pain today, but the meds are tearing his stomach up. Hopefully by Friday morning we will both be good as new, and our DDs won't have come down with anything.
