Noob Question: Which Resort?

Again, thanks very much for the expert advice and experience.

I have done some virtual tours, and we have stayed at AKL resort in the past and really like it, but I'm getting the impression here that the flexibility of changing resorts that the DVC salespeople are emphasizing may not be as practical as they made it sound, at least not at the time of year that we will likely be visiting. Just seems that 30+ years of visiting AKV might get boring - or maybe not?

Definitely something to think about.

If you are looking to stay at a lot of different resorts - and your timing of those weeks is set - I wouldn't buy. I'd consider renting points - where you can find an owner who does have the "right" home resort for each trip.

If you are thinking that the late November/Early December trip is not set in stone - that your family could move to sometime from mid January (there is an early January Run Disney event that makes rooms hard to book) to May - avoiding the two week period on either side of Easter - there may be more thinking about it.
