A friend of mine received an offer from Disney Destinations to plan her "very first Disneyland Resort trip!" She got this after she requested a vacation plannind DVD and indicated that it would be her first trip. The fine print says the offier is non-transferable, and it comes with a 15 digit pin.

Does anyone know if Disney if flexible on the "non-transferable" part? She can not use the offer, and I, of course, would love to. It is DLR hotel rates that extend all the way to Christmas vacation (for specific dates.)

thanx for your input

I know for WDW when something says non-transferable, they mean it! A PIN offer is tied to a person's specific name AND address. Therefore, you will not be allowed to use her PIN. Sorry.:sad1:

It will be the same way for DL.

Try ordering a DL planning CD and see if they send some things your way.

Yep - it's non-transferable, as the previous posters said.

The only way you could benefit from your friend's PIN code offer is if you went with her to DLR and shared the hotel room with her. Otherwise, specific PIN codes are meant to be for the person to whom they are addressed (DLR even keeps a database in which the various discounts attached to each person's name are stored, so they can check their system to confirm that someone was offered a particular rate).

Sometimes there will be general public discounts that are not all that much more expensive than the PIN code offers and those will be posted on the DLR website or in some other sort of e-mail. But the PINs are more exclusive.

Thanx guys, for your responses. Makes sense, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask. I will try ordering a planning DVD, however, they've probably got us marked in the system as regulars....:)

Either way, it will still be fun to get an updated vacation planning dvd....
