Non-Smoking?

Today when I made a reservation, requesting a non-smoking room wasn't an issue because the person I spoke to said all Disney resorts are now non-smoking? When did this happen? I don't smoke, so this isn't an issue for me, but that's a pretty big move to make every room non-smoking.

The non-smoking, supposedly, will begin June 1.
