Non-runners doing F&W during Wine and Dine Half Marathon weekend

We are planning a trip home to attend F&W with my sister and her DH. They have never been and are really looking forward to it, but the only weekend that works for us all is the weekend of the Half Marathon.

Are we crazy? What can we expect? Are park hours significantly affected? I see that the post race party is Sunday night at 10pm.

I’m not sure if park hours are affected, but it might be hard for you to get a reservation during that weekend if ou don’t already have one.

The lock-offs are all booked, but we were able to get a dedicated 2-bedroom

Everything will be hoppin' busy that weekend. You'll want to go as early in the day as possible to avoid the masses.

5. Jersey Week
6. First week of Christmas theming

Lots of stuff going on that week.

Most resorts book at 11months for this particular event at least for studios and 2br lockouts, so if you haven't booked already you might be lucky and find 1br but I wouldn't count on it.

From what I read in the past, Epcot will have more people and perhaps crowds, but not MK and AK.
