Non-Preferred building choice at CBR?

We have a non-preferred room booked at CBR for next Jan. Can someone reccomend which building is best? I would like to be near a bus stop but also as close as possible to the resturant and a hot tub. Since it is Jan. will it be too cold to swim? My 8 yr old will love the new pool.

Each village has their own bus stop so there's always one pretty close to you. We stayed in Jamaica Building 42 and in Martinique (I think it was 23). I preferred our stay in Jamaica. It was just about a 2 to 3 minute walk to the bus stop and a short walk to Old Port Royale. The walk was so pretty too.......over a small wooden bridge, through the island in the middle of the lake and on to Old Port Royale.

We were in Jamaica 45, which we requested, and it was perfect! Just a short, beautiful, and aromatic stroll through Caribbean Cay to the main pool and Old Port Royale, and an even shorter stroll in the opposite direction to the bus stop!

As far as I know the hot tub will be in the main pool area. Jamaica and Aruba are both great choices to request.

The good think about CBR is every 'island' has a bus stop, so you are never too far away. I would recommend Jamaica too as it is just across the bridge from the main area and is first stop on the bus route alot of times.
I know the main pool is heated, not sure if the 'quiet' pools are as well, but just remember, just because the water is warm...you gotta get out of the pool sometime....

This may sound a bit crazy but when my family last stayed at CBR, we were at Trinidad South and really liked it. It is fairly far from Old Port Royale and we only had a room with a standard view. However, the view was great - couldn't see the parking lot at all (almost like having a garden view) and it seemed very quiet in the evenings (great for sleeping). But it is quite a walk to the pool and restaurants, although there is a close bus stop nearby.

We stayed in Aruba for our 2006 trip. I think Aruba or Jamaica would be great choices. Just a quick hop across the bridges to OPR.
We had a ground floor room right next to the pool. It was great. You can see my pics below.
